A friend and I found out about this mod tonight and are going to finally get to play the game from start to finish together. She is very new to PC and this guide is incredibly straightforward so I am using this video to help her set it up. I met a guy on ps5 last year when mw2 released and we kinda just kept on playing together and he had a gaming pc he spent around 1800 quid on but ended up hating it because he had no one to play with. I always wanted a gaming pc, i told him i was going to purchase one but didnt feel comfortable building it so was just going to leave it. He begged me to get it and ended up coming all the way to my house to build it for me. Pc gaming is good but the lack of freinds on it is the biggest turn off imo. Im just glad i bumped into him.

Thanks, works almost perfectly. Only bug we ran into was at Ruin-Strewn Precipice and that was after one of us died to a dragon boss. We ended up closing our games because we got stuck after dying. Thanks again, its a great mod!

This exactly, I was able to import my character perfectly. My buddy has been fuming about how shitawful the coop is and refusing to play the game, he said he'll definitely try this cause the current incarnation of coop in definitely outdated and clunky is too kind to describe it. IDK about cross-progression tho, seems like that's not a thing. I don't think its possible with the way elden ring setup their systems in any mod.

For anyone having issues of the mod not working or being registered in some fashion: Seamless Coop Version 1.3.4 might not be the right one for you. It wasn't for me so I ended up finding out that using version 1.3.2 could be the solution and it was. I now have 2 unique items that you use to open your world and join others' worlds. This tutorial was still a great tutorial perfectly explaining how to install Seamless Coop in general

Just curious, if u use this mod how does that effect ur actual elden ring files. Wt i mean is, if i load up elden ring normally would all the stuff done on the modded version carry over or nah. Both players can use torrent, get as far away from each other as they want etc. I started playing it with my cousin a few days ago and it's not only a ton of fun but amazing how perfectly it works. And no it can't get you banned, it dose not connect to the official MP servers in anyway. Anytime you launch the game with the anti cheat off (which you can do by just going to the install folder and launching eldenring.exe directly) it will only start in offline mode.

The mod comes with a EXE you use to launch the game instead of normally through steam. This starts the game in offline mode (the mod uses P2P of course not the official MP servers) with Easy anti cheat disabled. So yes trainers etc work perfectly fine in this mod. Which is why you shouldn't (and can't) play with randoms. You both have to set the same password.

Any ideas why my graphics card runs 25-30° hotter after installing seamless? I know it sounds bs, but before i would get like 55° max, now it goes slowly to 80 or 85. It didnt do that 30 minutes ago testing with reforged alone.

@@markgoggin6660 As far as I remember, all of the saves were there, so there shouldn't really be any problem. But I still highly recommend that you make a copy of your save file, just in case.

I love this mod. Anytime I was invaded on vanilla I would literally just crouch and turn my back to the invader to make it boring. I imagine they raged so hard that their volcano pimples on their foreheads and necks spattered onto the walls of their parents’ basement.

Seamless co-op uses a separate launcher, so if you want to play normal you just launch it from steam as normal. The only thing I would do to be safe is have separate characters for seamless and vanilla, I have no idea if this is needed but its a good precaution to have.

bro, i spent the better part of 3 hours before and after work to understand and set this up. all the examples were skyrim SE and Vortex. the best hints that helped was the Mod page and i was still confused. If anyone was wondering, you may be able to turn off invasions in the settings (1:08). I haven't tested it yet but if you're wanting to try it too, here's how I did it: When you open the settings page (1:08), on the updated version of the page, the first line that appears under [Gameplay] is something along the lines of 'Invaders are players who will join your world uninvited and attempt to kill you and your party. False=0, True=1'. There is some kind of command after it that looks something like 'allow_invaders = 1'. By switching the number 1 to 0, you (theoretically) should be able to prevent invaders. My friend and I are trying to play this mod together casually and are kinda getting tired of people coming out of nowhere and interrupting us. I did some digging in the settings and this is what I found (located at 1:08). Again, I haven't tested this yet, and if I am going about this the wrong way please let me know. But otherwise here you go and enjoy hopefully being able to play without being invaded

@@Cornelius689 yea if you just go into settings you can set the allow invasions to “0” which makes it so it is essentially turned off. I recommend not doing this, however, since you can get some good items from certain invaders.
