You take the wind tunnel up against the cliff nothwest of Raya Lucaria Crystal Tunnel, then follow the path up northeast and it leads right to the gate. There’s a couple catapults when you get close so stick to the left and they won’t hits you so easy. There you go, you saved 14 minutes of horse riding.

We can't get the lift to activate. We have both halves of the medallion. Is there something you need to do first? We also can't get to Radahn since the castle gate is closed. I've read activating the lift will start the festival but the lift doesn't work. We're basically stuck.

That's definitely odd. If you are playing with a friend summoned, maybe try activating the lift solo?

@@PlayingQuietly Yep, wife and I are playing together. We had this problem before on our first play through but it 'fixed' itself back then. Not sure what we did. I think it's been 2 weeks in this play through since we got both halves. We've tried the upper and lower sections. It just ignores us. I'll try the lift solo tonight.

@@neveser also, just to make sure, go into your bags and check that you have both halves. You might be mistaking half of the haligtree medallion

@@PlayingQuietly I tried the lift solo and it worked. Radahn's festival is active for us now. We didn't check to see if the lift worked after she joined my game but it seems to have moved things along. It's no problem to go around, but the lift seems to be a trigger for moving questlines forward.

As far as I know, no. I mainly use this to collect a few items like bell bearings, and I don't believe I have ever broken any quests.

Just don't progress to much at that point, and you should be fine.
