Elden Ring: The NEW BEST Way to Farm Runes for Endgame! (Getting Ready for the DLC)

Basically the reason this and similar runefarms work has to do with how enemies and terrain assets are loaded in the game. When you load an area, all the enemies contained within it are loaded. When you travel far enough out of an area, the assets are all unloaded. Typically this is accompanied by a cleanup process that de-loads the loaded zone properly otherwise you'd just get wild runes periodically when traversing the map. For the falling rune bug, no new zone is loaded and that cleanup does not happen, however the distance check to deload the geometry still happens. When the terrain disappears, all the loaded enemy entities start falling and 12 seconds later, they all die from a 12 second falling kill timer. Any NPC and the player character as well will die if they fall for more than 12 seconds without hitting a kill plane or the ground. To circumvent this death timer on the player, attacking is performed which grants an extension to the timer. Most areas have well-defined kill planes which will prevent the player from ever achieving this, but every so often a new one is found and it survives until FromSoft takes the time to extend the kill plane to cover the exploited location.

Its not fast enough to be the best way if you compare the time from start at grace to when you receive the runes. Especially, easy to waste the 3mins of golden foot . In my opinion, use wave of god and back to the grace still the fastest way but its boring than do this bug

This is correct - The best rune farm in the game is the ledge with wave of gold sword - PERIOD.

i got invaded 2 weeks ago while my friend was carrying me. The invader killed my friend but realized i wasn't a challenge and we starting emoting back and forth. He dropped 50 lords runes and dismissed himself.

Feels like 30k rune is the same amount of time grinding the albinaurics. Just had to rest 6 times and 30k runes with the albinaurics at journey 2. And that 30k runes is just a quick farm for somber/smithing stone shopping at the hold

I honestly don’t know but they have done some patches to the game I wouldn’t be surprised if this is patched if you keep dying then yea most likely it’s to late…

It’s probably not, but you can also do this in a fresh NG before you kill Elden Beast. If you follow Varré’s quest, you could get here in like an hour or two and power level

Yea basically. That’s why I think just the normal rune farming with the endgame weapon and using that site of grace is faster

Yo for the dlc Song+, say you're max level ng+7 will you be fighting ng+7 dlc bosses, will they be harder to beat like others on ng+??

Yea but after new game plus 7 that’s the max scaling so everything after that will be the same health and damage bosses

@@Shutdown-21 I say yea go for it because let’s say worst case scenario dlc drops and you can’t get to the dlc just do the white mask guys quest every game so you get the medallion to take you to mohgs palace and then you just run through it and beat mohg and boom you can access dlc right away and not have to beat the game plus your on

Ya start at the dynasty mausoleum entrance then jump on down get on your horse ride to the white tree jump off the white tree to the ledge climb the ledge go to the second rock there with the a white spot and a blood splatter double jump off swing a little to the left and just start swinging all the way down until you get the runes it takes around 40 seconds in total if done right
