In my opinion, weapon variety brings out the best in a strength build. And Ash of War variety, especially since Fire scales with strength. I've got Giant Hunt and Flaming Strike on two weapons each. I put Raptor of the Mists on another for a nice surprise jump attack. There's a lot of fun to be had.

Azael, what were you’re opinions on colossals/the prelates? Been using a 125 Staff of the Avatar build and my god it is rather limiting what you can do

Yeah, unfortunately they are pretty limited in terms of positive matchups, BUT in invasions anything can work well if use it properly. The Ashes of War are a HUGE help in that front. You can mix up a lot of them to have an arsenal of weapons that can adapt on the adversaries. Colossal Swords are better (in general) than colossal like axes and such, but I can assure you that if you hit someone with a Lion’s Claw on a Prelates, they DEAD 😂

Yes, it does. Not the most op Ash of all, but yeah, in a full optimized int build it destroys everything. Just a damage nerf would be enough to make it "normal".
