Thanks for the review! I was fortunate enough to play a session at Gen Con and it blew me away! I have no trouble at all believing it is your favorite game of all time. I can see it eventually becoming the same for me. I told Ghillie at Gen Con that it is going to make TMB a solo only game for me because my game group is going to choose TES over TMB every time. You were dead on with all your points. Can't wait for this game to arrive!

Huge kdm fan, never played tmb but heard lots of good things. TES is my favorite video game series, and inspired me to become a game dev. So excited! Plus i have models from the tes minis game, so i can use those :D

Did the all in + 4 inventory pack. At some point someone that doesn't play board games is going to find out that I spent that much on a board game, when that happens I'm going to show them this video. I'm glad it worked out for you.

I got into a bit of trouble when someone found out I spend 150 € for Tainted Grail. I'm never gonna tell them about this. Or about Isofarian Guard. Let's just be happy about it for ourselves.

Like you my top games of all time are KDM followed by Too Many Bones. The other Chip Theory games I have played haven't been keepers so I was starting to doubt this one but you have me hopeful again. Excited to get this and Nemesis, both of which I have on order.

So excited for this to arrive. I backed purely on the Elder Scrolls IP having never played a CTG. The more reviews, gameplays I watch, the more excited I am! At first I was a bit concerned it might be to weighty with the 96p rule book, but the gameplay I have watched eased my concerns. I’m sure there will be some curve, but it seems like this game is going to be a hit for me! Thanks for the video.

Great review Mark 👍 Can’t wait for this to deliver. My only slight complaint is that the “tutorial” scenario doesn’t actually teach you the game. On the contrary, it may very well sound nonsense if you go though it without first reading the corresponding sections in the rules. I wouldn’t call it a “tutorial”, it’s just showing you how to piece together all the rules on character management, map exploration, combat, delves, etc. But you need to read and learn those rules form the rulebook beforehand. Usually a tutorial booklet runs you through the game explaining the rules as you go

Oh.... this is exactly what I wanted to see! A review from someone who loves Too Many Bones!! I need to make time to watch the whole thing, do you think TMB and Elder Scrolls live in the same collection? Or do you feel this replaces TMB? Thank you for this video. I enjoy your content. Eventhough you focused on solo play, as per your channel’s mission, I am curious about your comments on your experience on the other player counts. Sometimes when I enjoy a game solo, I like to consider trying with friends. Thanks.

Thanks for watching. As I mention in the video - I’ve played it with 2 and 3 players. Both were great and it really scaled very well but obviously takes longer the more players there are.

Thank you for the review. I will be curious to hear your thoughts in a few months after the newness wears off, especially whether you really think there is a place for both ES and TMB in a collection and if TMB makes it back to the table over the winter months. I didn't back ES as I have everything TMB (and Cloudspire and remastered Hoplo) but it does look very good.

I am debating whether or not to back cloudspire at the moment and get into that world as well for solo gaming. On the other hand Elder Scrolls should be around in a couple of months. Having played elder scrolls I'm curious about your opinion on a comparison to cloudspire.

Same, this looks easier to learn compared to Cloudspire. Thankfully the pledge manager will remain for many months so I'll have time to decide if I want to own both

"It's got its quibbles". 42 minutes and that's the critique, that's the negative. What a joke, this is not a review, it's a paid gush. Really tired of these unprofessional clowns in the board gaming community.
@NotBoredGamingАй бұрын
Dude - have a Snickers, you aren’t you when you are hungry. “Paid unprofessional clown” - love it. I mean, I’ve never taken any payment for anything on my channel but, hey - what do you facts have to do with anything when you are going full “Donald Trump”. Who says I’m a professional? I’m just a guy with a camera, this isn’t my job it’s a hobby 😂😂 As for clown, my kids will tell you I’m not funny so you kinda missed the mark on that one as well. Look, it’s not for me to convince you to change your opinion on me, you think I’m a paid, unprofessional clown just like I think you are a spineless, keyboard warrior dickhead with a poor grasp on social interactions, some things just aren’t for changing.😂 Now, go and have some food, take a nap and I’m sure you will feel fine when you wake up. If not, ask Mummy to make you some cocoa and watch Blues Clues - I guarantee you’ll feel better then.

@@NotBoredGaming Just tired with the hobby in general. Scum such as Quackalope is just breeding like there's no tomorrow. Even scum who will make a video for free games such as you. Really, it's just so shameless even an idiot can see right through it. No editorial honesty, and it's been getting worse. I play boardgames since the original Hero Quest, Agricola, Starcraft and such, some 30 years more or less. It's never been worse reviewer wise. No wonder your channel is so small though and god bless, it will stay that way.
