For Stands-In-Shallows quest you were in the right place, you just barely missed the Double-Distilled Skooma. It's behind the stairs on the second floor on top of a crate iirc.

When you are on the world map there is a command in the lower left that tells you how to access the local map, useful in cities and caves. I believe it is X.

Take your time with NPC's... Sinding would have approached you, but you didn't stand still long enough for him to do that. And listen to their dialogue - especially when you first enter a new town. They are often giving important background info for quests - IF you hear them out. Like at 44:40, that discussion between the Dunmer woman and the boy in Windhelm was the start of the Dark Brotherhood quest - which is a major one. But you interrupted them so you never heard it. There are other ways to pick up clues about it, but that was the most direct one. 😉Also, see my comment in your last video about NPC's saying you look sick..... 😷

Well, you don't HAVE to let them speak if you don't want to (or have the patience to!)... 😁 But, it can make your life a little easier gathering info - if you care about that kind of thing. The important thing is to play the game the way that makes YOU happy... (So maybe I shouldn't have even said anything...!) 🙊🤐 But yes, please get yourself healed. I think you had a decrease in magicka, so you probably have witbane... But don't worry - it's not contagious, so you won't give it to others. 😄

I feel like I do miss a lot of questlines when I don’t talk to people so will definitely be less antisocial going forward. Glad to hear it’s not contagious, but man I’m tired of people telling me I’m tired 😪
