What the hell are you talking about . That damn drone didn't do anything of is own accord . It was crashed by whoever was giving it commands and because of who ever did its stupidity we lost a very important piece of equipment we cannot easily replace . Why the hell would you have tears of mourning over the loss of a piece of machinery or celebrate its nonexistent life . Your entire statement reeks of ignorance and your inability to separate the loss of a tool to the loss of a human life . How stupid is that .

The Thunderbolts Project (Electric Universe) has a totally different take on what caused these dendridic channels. It's more consistent with your observation. They are the result of massive electrical discharges - massive lightning strikes at an electrically active period. Not the result of water flow. It's a compelling argument. It can be replicated in the lab. I don't pretend to know what happened on Mars a few billion years ago.

Great views of Mars. Ingenuity is priceless. You could make a childrens' book, with pictures, about her and educate kids, if not too late. I agree water seems to have flowed. However, what was the atmospheric pressure in Mars's ancient times, to enable liquid water not to evaporate? And if a suitable atmospheric pressure, how did the low Martian gravity not enable the loss of this atmosphere, I mean not over millions or billions of years.
