As a 70-year-old geezer, I still remember the night when I was six when Mars was at opposition and my father pointed out the bright orange star in the sky and I first thought to myself, "I am actually looking at Mars!" I remember the Russian Venera photos and the Viking photos and the wonder of thinking, "I am actually looking at the SURFACE of Venus! I am actually looking at the SURFACE of Mars!" Thanks to the Huygens probe, I can even say that about the methane lakes and rivers of Titan, beneath that orange shroud that's always hidden the surface of Saturn's largest and most interesting moon. I'm not sure that people born more recently and who have grown up with stuff like that can even imagine the sense of wonder I felt. But this takes it to a whole new level. Thank you!

I was born in a small village in Africa. When I was a little boy, I would go to the stream to fetch water for my parents. I had to carry the water back about two miles in a bucket. A train ran on two tracks through the town, and as a child, I was so excited to actually see a train I would run half a mile to the track, spilling half the water. I did not see a television until I was 11 years old and visited my aunt in a big city. At that time, a neighborhood had one TV and people gathered to watch it like an event. Today, I was so excited about this video, I toldy 14 year old son, "I have something that would blow your mind." I imagine my disappointment when I had to pry him from his zoom scrolling to give this amazing video a gander. After three minutes, he put it on the dashboard so he could see both his screen and mine. "Ah, never mind", I said, and I began to tell him my history, then quickly realized I was interrupting his morning.

And for sure this is the surface of mars for sure because, well, they said it was mars. And seeing they said so it must be fact. Yep, these pictures of some terrain that we are told is for sure the surface of mars is proof that earth is spinning and ball shaped. I mean it would be impossible to take pictures of earth terrain, put it in photoshop and make it appear to be from another planet. Your right these pictures PROVE earth is a spinning ball with the atmosphere attached to the OUTSIDE of a ball while flying more than half a million miles an hour through an endless infinite vacuum. Every other instance you put air directly next to a vacuum, the air is sucked away. But not spinning ball earth. No no. For spinning ball earth, the physics changes for some reason, now all earths atmosphere can stick to the OUTSIDE of a ball while totally submerged in an endless inifinte vacuum. A vacuum thousands upon thousands of times more powerfull than anything we can create on earth. Yep these pictures (wich are for sure impossible to fake with photoshop or any mainstream movie technology) prove earth is spinning and ball shape.

They're caused by wind, and the waves are made of sand. So they're technically small sand dunes. The Martian atmosphere is very thin, and so even the strongest gusts on Mars are only equivalent to a strong breeze on Earth. So, the dunes are very small. that's all you need to read, another thought below This can compared to water on Earth. Water is much heavier and denser than sand, making it harder to move. So the waves are similar sized. The wind on mars is weak as sand is easy to move and the wind on Earth is strong as water is hard to move.
@sayantansaha19764 жыл бұрын
Depends on what was actually there before. They could actually be ripple marks (stuff we get to see on Earth due to the action of water). There are 2 types- (i) wave ripples- formed due to wave action on beaches that creates symmetrical ripples on the sand and (ii) current ripples- formed due to the unidirectional flow of water like in a river of soft sediment like sand or clay to produce asymmetrical ripples. Ripples aren't that difficult to find if you don't live in a city. Dunes are just scaled-up versions of ripples that form due to wind action on loose sediments like sand. Given a large enough time, they can lithify and form what you've seen in this video.

Earth, the most beautiful planet in the universe. If there was ever a heaven, it is earth. Take good care of it.
@ClixCFC9 ай бұрын
If you saw heaven you would never compare the universe over it, in paradisd theres see through palaces silver and gold ruby etc up to you, you have your own servants to do what you ask, yes you are like a king/queen in paradise, even the angels greet you
@ErebusSkuLL88629 ай бұрын
@@ClixCFC Are you implying that you've seen "Heaven"? How would you even possibly know what is In "Heaven" if you haven't been there? It is, and always will be, completely incomprehensible to our mere Human-minds. So go stick your face in a bible all you want, but just know, we are most likely alone in this solar system, let alone our entire damn universe. And even if there are other Life forms out there, we will most likely never find them, Because the universe is fuckin' massive. Earth is the only livable planet we have (That we know of). So compared to all the other planets, Earth is indeed the closest thing we have/Know to "Heaven". We must take care of it, and appreciate it while we can.

On the scale of the universe, what is a couple thousand years? The earth has been around for roughly 4 billion years....how many civilizations rose and fell in that time period....also mars looked very similar to earth a couple million years ago so i wonder why we're so eager to go there...perhaps we just wanna go home....🤔
