Elderly Hand Speed Painting

Ahh this video and picture connect with me on so many levels. When my kittyman was around no paints were safe from him. I started painting watercolors using children's paints so when he would go and lay on my palette I wasn't worried about his rainbow-colored belly. He would wait for me to get up to strech or take a little break and zoom over to my paints and lay on them. It was hysterical. Also when I was younger I would adore playing with my grandma's hands. It fascinated me how floppy her skin was and it would remind me of a deflated balloon.

My mother was in hospice late August of 2017. I took a similar picture and was planning on painting it. I’m so happy to have seen your tutorial before I started my version. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you.

I found your video while searching for how to paint hands, I took a photo of holding my mums hand when we were celebrating her birthday which I brought forward as I knew my mum wouldn’t make it to her 80th Birthday She had kidney failure. I plan to paint our hands from the photo I have, I’m new to water colour painting so hope I can get this right. Thanks for your video

Hi Kelly. you said in the video that your cat likes to try your brushes and water. Please do not allow do this. almost all paints contain chemical elements which are poison. Please think about cat's health.

She TRIES to get at them but I don't let her, and I put them where she can't get them when I'm finished painting.
