We are 4 years in cleaning up my husband’s uncle and aunts house. It was the eye sore of the neighborhood. It used to be the home and garden showpiece of the neighborhood. Their only 2 sons died, no friends, no community, no church affiliation….so when his uncle called us ( from another state) for help , we were shocked how they were living. With their depression they had given up and were just barely surviving. We go there once a month ( 4 years) clean yard, house and secretly haul trash away. Uncle has died, but still helping the aunt. Saying all this, I now understand how a place can get like this, between handicapped and just being overwhelmed….I’ve learned to have grace for people because HE gives me big time grace! Yes I so agree with you too, since when did we stop be human beings and caring? You know not everyone receives help and kindness so easily. I moved into my home three yrs ago and my neighbours are African. Our first winter was brutal so much snow so my husband decided out of the kindness of our hearts to snow plow their driveway since ours was joining. Well the next day it snowed again and she had her kids shovel ours. I came out and said it’s ok we have a blower and my husband will clear the driveways again. So she wasn’t so receiving. So we stopped and then years go by and they don’t even shovel their driveway way. So we continue on doing ours and they started to use our driveway as their means to walk across so they don’t have to walk on their driveway deep in snow. So it got to the point I had to tell them to get off my property and had to get police involved they were using my driveway as their parking lot. Just rude.

Honeybees have almost become an endangered species where I live. They don't need people ignorant of that to be deliberately killing them. Please don't spray the good critters. And, I'm glad the little guy didn't pick up a scorpion; their sting can really hurt.

I live in northern Indiana and things are normal here in the summer. However in winter, neighbors move to the winter locations, Arizona, Florida and the like. I clear driveways of snow for 5 of my neighbors and even cut grass for a couple till they return home, never expecting anything in return. I enjoy doing it.

i never seen a nursing home yet that didnt have some abuse.I have been abused in the hospital.I had a car wreck in la. and had 12 broken bones in my chest and they put tubes on both sides of my lungs catching the blood that was hemraging W hen it was time to take the tubes out the Doc.wanted me to turn over where he could pull the tubes out and i couldnt.I dont no why he wanted me to turn over.But he hollerd at me to turn over and when i couldnt he he pushed me over and jerked the tubes ou and puss went streaming across my bed,and i had a nurse that would lean on my back with a punctured lung and to hear me cry out in pain.I got out of there and came home in ark where i went in hosp. here and recouped from my injures

I am somewhat embarrassed at my fellow Texans, who rather than offer to help, chose to complain. I’m a native Texan, and have lived the entirety of my almost 70 years within a radius of 80 miles from where I was born on East Texas. Dad instilled in all on my brothers and sisters that importance of helping neighbors. It was not unusual; we just did it. I miss those days, and as the youngest boy of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, there are only three of us remaining; me and the brothers nearest to my age; 78 and 80. Unless family visits a loved one daily in a nursing home, you dont know how they are treated! When the home realizes the family is involved, they are cared for more. IMHO. Great work Blessing Boys!

My father was with my mother 24/7 when she was in “rehab” homes because that was the only way she was cared for properly. We both decided after that - neither of us will go to one. I will likely be alone when my time comes so I will have an out of state friend check on me by phone and know when to call the authorities to take me out and toss me to the wind.

So glad to see your boys working so hard to help others with you. 😊 I grew up on a horse ranch and we were out every day working- hard physical labor that kids today don't understand. We had no choice, no days off, no vacation, etc. People think "horses oh what fun, you can ride all the time ". They have no idea how much work there is. My parents were divorced when we were very young, ages 4 through 8, and we stayed with our mother on the ranch. We had, on average, 75 to 90 head, which we took care of by ourselves, no hired hands or other help. Just putting up hay for winter was back breaking work. You have no days off, 100 degrees in the summer and negative temperatures in winter. Horses need to be fed twice a day no matter what. Gives me hope that some people understand the meaning of work when I watch all of you! 😊

Thanks to you and your amazing boys for what you all do❤. So many people need help in our world and apparently their yards it appears from all the yard transformations on KZbin and work done on their homes. I have helped many people in my life in different ways and yardwork which I love to do. It's very rewarding. Due to back issues I no longer can help with yards unfortunately. The elderly need help so much but what I never understand is why people use their yard/land as a dumpster 😭 for EVERYTHING 😔 This choice only adds to more problems and stress ,fines, unhappy neighbors, pest etc. It becomes overwhelming and a eyesore. Most towns have trash pickup and junk pickup or a landfill. I understand it can cost money depending on the amount of trash or type of junk. I often wonder where are family members 😢 to help do something. Very sad. Again you all are great people 💓 and a inspiration. So happy you help people and this poor lady she definitely needs help in many ways. Amazing job🎉
