Very interesting set up. I’ve never seen the cable driven system before. Thanks for the video.

Great video,thanks for sharing.On our MB motorway we use ol' fashion thumb tacks .The tape we use is the silver foil tape used for duck work.Keep up the great videos!!

Thank you very much. It is just out of sight in the video, but I never took apart my Motorway since I tried to install it years ago, it's on the very corner of that table. The nice thing about it is I got the Ferrari Lusso and the Mercedes convertible with it, both mint, both with boxes. I had a heck of a time with it. I did not have the "spring joiners" so I was using staples and they always jammed up. Then at some point I got a box with a joiner and pins in it, and promptly misplaced it. One of the motors stopped working, but I got another one. I only had enough "spring" for one lane, which I never got going right. At some point I need to get it running. On your Motorway, do you lubricate the spring with anything?
@ourwayband25494 жыл бұрын
@@ToyKingWonder Yes sir we lubricated. Cleaned each piece with alcohol, the spring slot,then a very light lube of a light (slot car) oil.They can be some trouble to get going.The spring needs to be kink free.I too was missing one of the spring joiners.I used a small piece of a light paper clip.Once you get them going they are fun to run. You can really get some sliding action around the curves.Pretty cool to see several hot Wheels all drifting thru the curves. One thing we did do was to install HO slot car type railing.Have fun with it!!

Looks like a cross between a Matchbox Motorway and Aurora Cigar Box cars.

So if you change the layout do you have to add or subtract pieces of chain to match the track length? Is the chain toothed to mesh with drive gear?

Thanks for sharing, I have not seen this before. With it's plastic drive, is this quieter than Matchbox Motorway?

You are welcome. I had never seen one either. Pleasantly surprised how good a shape it was in. I think it it quieter than the Motorway, but still makes a racket!
