Eldrig the Old, Bard Guide and Solo Kill, EverQuest P99 Green

What program do you use to have a map on P99? That would come in handy playing on my lap top when I don't have a 2nd screen to look at a map on the web. (Also knowing where I am on the map is SICK !)

Great video. One way to make this a ton easier is to use Bind Sight after High Sunning mobs back to their spawn to see where they went to. If you got PH, maintain a target on it and run back, bind-sighting as necessary to check where it's at. Don't lose target so you'll know when you get back to it its the right mob.

So I just did this solo on my 59 bard, below are some notes. - The wiki says you can go to LOC 326, 2554 and wait for the PH to path there, pause, and then kill it. I waited here about an hour and 2 mobs pathed there and stopped. I killed both of them and neither of them were the Eldrig PH, so it's not 100%. - What I ended up doing is I followed the route that Lethan drew out and when it looked like a mob was kind of following that path correctly, I would track it and then Song of Highsun it. I don't know if this is a bug or is intended, but if you're tracking it you will continue tracking it regardless of where it is in the zone as long as it's alive. I did that a couple times and eventually highsunned a mob that was Eldrig's PH. - I went through about 6 PH's and killed Eldrig using the snare/fear/fufil's method. It resisted only once I believe, and I used a journeyman's stick proc at the beginning. - It dropped the guts, immortals, and Muzzle of Mardu spell so I suppose that's not too bad :) Thank you Lethan for the video, it was very helpful.

/pet attack eldrig_the_old works to check if hes up from across zone? Wtf? That's awesome! I just had a friend sit at spawn and I highsunned everything until we got the PH.
