Honestly, I love this, and NOT in an ironic sense. I found it both entertaining and comforting! As weird as it sounds, I kind of dislike the whole "universal translator" trope in alien roleplays (and in storytelling in general), and I think it would be fun to eventually hear a story where the alien and the human actually _aren't_ able to understand what each other is saying, but try to communicate through other means and reach a mutual understanding that they don't mean each other any harm. This kind of indulged that idea of mine a little, perhaps her translator is broken at the moment, or perhaps she simply wants to praise us in her own, unaltered words. It's kinda fun, because each person can imagine what she's trying to say, and insert what makes them most comfortable. Personally, I really like the idea of a gigantic eldritch monstrosity being in love with me, despite how insignificant I may seem to her, so I'm imagining her telling how much she loves me and giving some reassuring words. On the other hand, she could actually be saying something a little more sinister, like how she has the urge to utterly consume us or something, and that she may be unable to control herself one day. Interpretation is fun!
