It's my all-time favourite! A great game that is frequently difficult but makes each victory all the more incredible. Different expansions offer differ twists on the theme and while some are decidedly more enjoyable than others, I've still never been upset with a single expansion.

It's awesome to see you loving this game so much, and especially fun to see no fear in getting some of the fun stuff - like Dark Pacts on turn 1! I've seen plenty of people afraid of that. A great first two turns as well. :) A couple of things: - Daniela did roll a 1 for that headstrong, so she should've lost it. - When an investigator uses the Prepare For Travel action, they gain a ticket of their choice if the matching path is connected to the city they're in. So Dexter could not get a train ticket in Tokyo since it's only connected to ship paths. - During reckoning, you handle the possessions and conditions of investigators at the same time. No need to go past all possessions and then start at the lead investigator again for conditions. Just let Sister Mary handle all reckoning effects on both possessions and conditions, then move on to Dexter and so on. And yes on some stuff you did correctly: Everything on a spell is a spell effect and you don't resolve reckoning effects on cards you gained during the reckoning.

@@theercs One more addition: As somebody else commented (and I totally missed), when you acquired the Mission Briefing, you were supposed to get two Task Unique Assets. You got two Tasks from the normal Assets deck. The Unique Assets are its own deck added by expansions.

Always happy to see Eldritch, especially with all the expansions. It's easy to go deep in this game. At 17:50, Dexter can't get a train ticket in Tokyo because there are no train paths connected. I always first turn bless Mary with the Holy Water, although it does feel a bit rote doing that every game. The only downside to the staged Mythos deck is I have found the game to be easier than I'd like. Reckonings on glamour spells are definitely spell effects. Conditions acquired during reckonings do not trigger, so you generally have a round to mitigate them. You can rotate the minis upside down to show delayed instead of laying them down.

0:28 what was that mini expansion you mentioned that you called essential? Why would you say it is essential? I bought the game but I have yet to start playing.

It’s called Forsaken Lore - I think it’s considered essential because it doubles the size of the encounter decks and I think the ancient ones decks amongst other things. I’d give it a go with just the base game though see if you like it, you won’t get repetition with them for a while

My first modern board game and also my favourite ❤. I plan to also buy everything (if I can make it on time before its discontinued.) But for now this is impossible. I have core, mountains of madness, forsaken lore and carcosa. I am missing a lot, also a storage system. How do you store yours? Also great game but I am sure you know that the game is toying with you only to crush you later 😅😅 And actually that is what I love about it. Can't wait for what happens next 😊

It’s just in 3 of the big boxes at the moment, I’ve got some wooden card boxes inside to organise some of them, maybe I’ll take the plunge and buy a big organiser one day 🙂

Ah another EH play through - great stuff! Just one other thing to note to comments already. At 30:16 you pick up the mission briefing but from that you took tasks from the common items deck rather than the Unique Asset deck which the card states.

17:49 Dexter Drake got a Train Ticket in Toyoko... he can not do this as there is no train line that goes to Toyoko.. You need to be in a City with a Train line connection to be able to get a train ticket... just an FYI for you..

They’re Mansions of Madness minis and some printed ones from Etsy, I think only two are the proper Arkham minis for that reason 😀
