We are not really that well off ,,, compared to same sized country,,, we are just so so well off … but with trump in charge it’s going to get bad ,,, we may be in a war we cannot afford or win in the near future

Uhmm no polls have actually closed yet, you won't start to get voting till after that. Interesting a couple of sites have given New Hampshire to Harris, with no votes counting and polling continuing.

I miss going into the precinct polling location, standing in line, giving my full name, signing the book (which the precinct worker checks against my registered signature, then asks me for my address to confirm I'm voting in the correct precinct), taking the paper ballot to an available booth, voting, then returning my ballot to a different precinct official and it's put immediately into a secured ballot box. Actually, when my state went full mail-in voting, I was surprised how much easier it was. So I don't really miss going in-person at all. There are, of course, election day voting booths set up in each county's admin offices, for those that need it (in accordance with ADA, there's assistance there for disabled folks, and if you are new to voting or lost/spoiled your ballot, you get help too). Also, I miss working a 12-hr day as an election worker.

If you're too lazy to vote in person, then you shouldn't have a say in who our elected officials are. A SECURE and FAIR election is far more important.

Mail in voting is not secure, Your vote can get tossed in the trash and people can vote multiple times

Jesus wasn't on my ballot and my pen had low ink so I couldn't write him in. Plus, I wasn't sure if Christ is his last name or what. Oh well, maybe he'll win in 2028 and then just wave his hand and fix everything. He won't even need 100 days to make the world awesome again.
