Everyone is seen naked in the hammam. The public is most troubled. There is an atmosphere of complete anarchy and autocracy in the country. Democracy is being dismantled by fully exploiting the constitutional institutions. The arguments of the Supreme Court sound good; But after taking the decision, full emphasis is not being given on its implementation. The judiciary will have to use its prerogative.

Major decision by SC, dismissing plea for extension of time to submit records of electoral bonds by SBI to Election commission of India. Now, SBI shall submit records by 12th march and by 15 march ECI shall publish such records on their website.. there shall be no delay beyond given date. Contempt petition has be stayed for now and will be issued if SBI failed to followed SC orders.

The Apex Court took up the Electoral Case after a gap of more than six years and passed orders for SBI to reveal the information of the Companies that bought the bonds and those redeemed which was pleasing; the orders passed today are okay but not really pleasing. However, now the Court seems to be giving an escape route to the SBI, better say to the Govt, not to come up with the linkages of the Bond bought by a company to the political party. Without the linkages, the information will not be worth its while. The wishy-washiness of Harish Salve, the counsel who usually represents the Govt in addition to the Solicitor General and the Attorney General, representing the SBI also speaks volumes!

CJI judges ने अगर electoral bonds में जो मांगा उसमे sbi ओर उनके एडवोकेट को ऐसी जानकारियां है जो कि देश के हित में हैं जितनी जल्दी उपलब्ध करा सकते हैं तो जानकारियां दे देनी चाहिए । अगर वह समय मांग रहे हैं उसे समय की मांग में कोई षड्यंत्र कर रहे हैं sbi और उनके वकील देश द्रोह के मुकदमे के हकदार होंगे । जैसे आम जनता पर कानून लागू होता है उन पर भी यही कानून लागू होना चाहिए कोर्ट को गुमराह करने का और वह भी भारत की सबसे बड़ी कोर्ट । बड़ी सजा का प्रावधान होना चाहिए ।

If they can do after 3 months they can even do right now, coz they have data, otherwise they would have said we cannot do it at all. 22000 records is such a small data for SBI to even to match manually in 26 days!!!

As a core banking expert consultant, we deal with 22000 manual data migration over a weekend of Saturday and Sunday. It is a stupid simple exercise for a bank like SBI. Anybody into banking software industry can vouch for that. Off course, I know we have to prepare for that in background, but 24 days to prepare for that are more than enough!

Yes, right decision. But at same time, one might wonder if obtaining bond data in the format stipulated by the SC is adequate. There will be two lists - one of the purchaser of bonds and the other for parties who encashed these bonds. Unless entries are matched how one would with precision which company donated how much to which party. It is reported that BJP’s share in donations by bonds is around 57%. Thus 43% have been donated to other parties, who have also reaped benefits of this now defunct scheme. So, the method adopted by having two parallel streams of data will not provide certainty and precision.

Because each bond has a unique number, it can be very easily matched using a simple code in Python. I am eagerly waiting for the information to be out. I will do the matching within minutes 😂

After a day's thought on what the SBI said - Unable to match purchase data with cashed data since it is in 2 top secret silos. This would essentially mean that if X purchased bonds for 100 and the bond was numbered as A, SBI claims they dont know who cashed A. They only know that Z Party cashed bonds worth 10000. If that was the case assume that X who purchased the bond or Z who cashed the bond added two ZEROS to the bond purchased or received then SBI who received only 100 from the purchaser X may have paid out 10000 to the party Z, since they cant match the number on the bond and the value. Has SBI lost money by this scheme and is that what SBI is trying to hide

No, each bond has unique number, so the moment both the information is released, any data scientist can do matching within minutes using a simple python code. SBI knows very well
