Electors Verification Programme: The Electors Verification Programme aims to improve the health of electoral rolls and provide better electoral services to the citizens.

The Election Commission launched the Electors Verification Programme (EVP) across the nation on September 1, 2019. The Electors Verification Programme is a one-stop solution to verify and authenticate voter details and ensure an error-free electoral roll.
The program was launched at all levels starting from the state/UT Headquarters by 32 CEOs, district level by about 700 DEOs and at around 1 million polling stations by BLOs/EROs and will continue from September 1, 2019 to October 15, 2019.
How will this work? Under the EVP programme, voters can verify or authenticate their details by logging on to NVSP portal (nvsp.in) or Voter Helpline App or Common Service Centres or by visiting any nearby voter facilitation centre. The EVP programme can be availed both online and offline.

Not mandatory to do online ,if u don't register online ,govt employee from B.L.O office will visit house to house to register every citizen through offline process.. There r many ppl who don't know how to do online verification , they will not be left unregistered..

Call on 1950 from your registered mobile number. You can also check the status of your submitted form on the same website using your reference ID (that has been sent on the registered mobile number after successful submission of form 8). Moreover, there is no need of separate verification, your form 8 details will be utilized for the same. However, it will take some time (even days) to show your status as verified as your details need correction.

@@altptn9276 if you have added someone in your account then you must have seen there's an option asking whether the person resides with you or not. You can add her name and choose the option "no" and then add her correct residential address. But it would be even better if she is listed under her husbands account as it would be easier for her only in future. Remember the account holder's name and the relative's name printed on the voter ID card are not the same thing. I think that's why you are confused.

Bhai voter id card me electric bill ka photo half le kar upload Kar sakte hain upar side ki jahan address mention rehta hai ya full image upload karni padegi full image click karne par clear nahin dikh raha kahin voter I'd card reject na kar den half image chalegi
