Electra7 Wheelchair Conquers Steep, Uneven Hill

This video is part of the proving Ground series. We will take the electric seven wheelchair that holds up to 400 pounds yet weighs just 50 pounds without the batteries up a steep uneven paved hill. The hill is riddled with dry leaves and crushed up acorns. Not only that, this hill is significantly steeper than an ADA ramp and as any regular wheelchair user would know quite frankly, dangerous. We do not recommend that you try this at home, but we are doing the series of videos to demonstrate the capabilities of the chair and how the Electra7 handles in a dangerous environment.

I added a back cushion & replaced the seat cushion with a Purple one, due to unique seating needs. Love my pink Electra 7 though. ❤

You look very uncomfortable in this chair. I am a tall person with hip and back problems. I would not be comfortable in this chair. Do you have a bigger chair than this one?

Hello Nancy, thank you for your comment. I am not uncomfortable in the Electra7 at all. This is a proving grounds video demonstrating the chair on an uneven slope and how is maneuvers. My body is resisting gravity when I speak. In a "real world" circumstance, I would not pause the chair to talk to the camera in the middle of a steep hill. The Electra7 is a chair I would comfortably sit in for a work day in front of the computer without issues.
