Bunnymen led the way in their first incarnation. Never cottoned to Electrafixion as it was Mac and Will climbing on the grunge bandwagon. Surely, they were still in their prime and had enough left in the tank to do something uniquely their own? And this is tuneless stuff. Don't think it was a coincidence it lasted about a nanosecond and they went back to being Bunnymen. It obviously wasn't right. Unfortunately, they then leaned too far towards Britpop...at least the tunes and lyrics improved.
