This is a fantastic tool. Lay down few chords and fetch them to chord pad - play a nice chord progression into the sequencer and add the beat. (Don`t forget to use just a little laidback groove on kickdrum to make it sink into the mix better (pro tip 😂) Please Korg, keep this app alive.

@@Max16032 Yes and no. The functions are easy to implement in tablet software but for high quality processing you need some cpu/ram etc. power, and in comparison tomid or high end computers, tablets dont have much oh these power.

@@ichbinshaltne are you sure about that? You know that the new ipad pro has the M1 chip and up to 16 gb of ram? That's on-par with a Macbook, which is insane. Power limitation is no longer an issue.

I think that korg is not paying attention to the real machines for wich they are known. The real electribes 2 ( i love that machine but i hate it because it can be so much better with simple updates, some times is frustrating) are still lacking of an unquantize or flux mode, full envelope generator (sustain), more bars, preview samples from the sd card, the ability to save multiple sample librarys in the sd card (to have more than one "allsample" file ), the sample managment in general is very tedious, a way to micro adjust the sample start with the shift and edit knob, etc... there is so much more in the OS that can be improved. Put out more system updates for the electribes, that machines have so much more potential!! the fisical hardware is much more importan for the mayority of the musicians, please listen to the costumers like novation do with the circuit. I'm a few years late to the party with this KORG app. Sounds amazing, very powerful, and great fun to use. Whilst this video is a great overview, I used this video for a more in-depth tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6Cpi3umfs9gjZo However, nothing beats getting hands on and involved. Very versatile and whilst aimed at dance - is just as good for electronic music whatever the style.

Dear KORG, PLEASE just make a new ESX1 version Electribe but beefed up and with an analogue synth engine and MS20 filter and multiple outs and all the jazz. The ESX/EMX are without rival to being serious and powerful and intuitive and simple production machines. They are without peer, especially the internal architecture and workflow. KORG can easily produce something to rival Elektron stuff and its where serious heads are waiting. Enough with the toys. Make serious hardware great again.

Where is my Electribe 2 update? 😕 An emulation from an instrument shouldn't offer me more. I want wavetable and sampling also for electribe 2.

Go buy the "grooverider GR16" app its basically an Electribe 2 with sample import and more synth models

@@aikighost for some people the creative process is inmensly more inspiring with a machine, an app dont emulate the feeling that you have with a piece of HARDWARE designed specificly to make music. I think that for the most musicians is this way.

Groovrider gr-16 is the best one by far trust me. You can use your own samples and wavetables as you like with out an issue.
