Electric boat construction video 21

Deck beams are cut out. I decided to curve them to shed water to the sides of the boat. they also slope gradually upward as they go forward about 1 mm per 100 mm so water can drain aft as well.
I decided to make the boat 2200 mm wide in the middle, curving back to 1800 mm wide aft. Originally the sides were going to be straight and parallel 1800 mm apart after the curve of the bow.
The curved sides will add strength and stability and not much additional drag.
It will add a bit more work, but I decided it was the right move.
