Lol! Thanks Brian.. It has been a labor of love! It is amazing how little by little it comes together.. I showed my wife and her response was WHAT!? You built that..?! If you do it a little at a time it is not really that hard!! Cheers Brian! 🍻

It really isn't that hard Adam as long as you do it a little bit at a time. If you look at that panel all completely put together it's very daunting and intimidating. But breaking it down like I do it's as simple as it seems on the video!! Cheers! 🍻

Have you had requests on integrating craftbeer pi into an electric brewery panel? That would be a neat video to make as many on KZbin don't do a great job of explaining.

Happy labor day! also Cheers :D that's a pretty sweet box il have to push my step dad/partner into upgrading some day but for now we are mostly worried about function over fashion as we are trying to get more to the nano level of things. Still no beer content on my channel other than IG cus we are still trying to get 220 in our garage, I think we are just going to do it ourselves since we cant find any budget friendly electricians in the area. He went to brew a batch at my uncles I missed out on that chance for content but at least now we have some buckets full...2 weeks of mental jeopardy music lol I realy like your cam and edit skills, I have a lot to learn still about the actual beer side of stuff but I'm anxious to have material for edits and uploads that's my main part in this dream. Welp I'm going to try and catch up on your vids while I get some art done today have a good one brother

Gday Brian, I was wondering if you found the LED terminals to be moving around when wiggled after tightening? They all seem to be the same on my panel so I assume it's supposed to be like that.

Yes Gavin, the metal that the screws mount in is very thin. As long as you have the connectors under the hold down plate you are good. Great question! Cheers! 🍻

How did you cut the hole for the power inlet? Mine needs a 2.3 inch hole cut and I'm not sure of the best way to do it.
@ShortCircuitedBrewers
@ShortCircuitedBrewers 5 жыл бұрын
It came precut from ebrew supply. I would use a carbide hole saw 58mm is a 1/2 mm smaller than 2.3 inches and it is pretty low cost. uxcell Carbide Hole Saw Cutter Drill Bit for Stainless Steel Alloy, 58mm www.amazon.com/dp/B07FM7W892/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Id2wCbRVT18PT

How does the voltage get stepped down from 240v to 120v for the PIDs, pumps, and switches?
@ShortCircuitedBrewers
@ShortCircuitedBrewers 6 жыл бұрын
Manuel Garcia 240 volts is comprised of 2 opposite phase 120 volt circuits. You simply use one"leg" of the 240 volt circuit for the 120 volt components. No stepping down is required.

How do you know how long to make the wires if you’re not connecting it from block to block for example?

You have wires that are dangling loose from the back panel before you put it in the box.
@ShortCircuitedBrewers

@@jeffgrey1566 I'm trying to understand your question. I just measure the wires by eye placing them in proximity to where they will run.

@@ShortCircuitedBrewers Ok, I assume they give you plenty of wire. I don’t want to crimp jumpers in if I cut them too short.
