Unplugged it'll stall or die or you'll have an idle bounce also it'll jerk like crazy cause that sensor does more more temputer it tells your car how much fuel it needs depending on where the temp is so it'll run rich or lean unplugged

Thanks helps a bunch going to get this temp situation sorted then possibly work on timing chain and new oil pump

After changing your coolant temperature sensor, did your fan come on/ fix the problem? I did what you did, removed wire to sensor which allowed fan to run, but that also prevented the A/C compressor from working. Plug wire back in and the fan quits and the A/C works. I haven't checked the CCRM.

That was my next course of action is changing ccrm on pass side fender well . But a offer has been made on roller. So I might part it out🙈

Fans didn't come on, after sensor install. The ccrm controls multiple different things. These some times go bad. Fans, fuel pump ECT. I have used junk yard ones from different years mustang and they have worked or ones off parts cars.

the resistor could be bad to in the radiator housing u missed that one

What if the fans turn on when the car gets hot but temp gauge remains at cold

There’s two sensors on the GT. The one on the drivers side talks to the PCM. The one on the passenger side is the sending unit that simply controls the gauge.
