Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.) - Strange Magic [w/lyrics]

"Strange Magic" is a song written and performed by the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). It was released on their 1975 "Face the Music" album.
Released as a single in 1976, the single was edited in the US, whereas in the UK the song appeared as the album cut minus the orchestral intro.

The soaring and falling strings that go along with the early parts of the chorus remind me of the recording of Ralph Vaughan Williams "Symphonia Antartica" for the film "Scott Of The Antarctic", and the sound of the blowing wind, which I believe was produced by rubbing sheets of linen together. Maybe Jeff Lynne and Co. got the idea from it? Regardless....love the song.
