Decent video guys. The electric motion are amazing machines. We have the e pure race 2022 and live it but their will always be a place for me with petrol ktm bikes for off road or mx.

Good video! You guys made a valid point in that gas trials bikes were discouraged in the gas class, but allowed in the electrics. Gas trial bikes were allowed in round 1 and 2 on Saturday but won't be accepted for advancement to Sunday. I did not see any of the fast gas riders on trials bikes. I was impressed that e-riders Bird and Toole were able to place 3rd and 4th vs gas in round 1!

Thanks for this vid. I'm looking at a new bike in the next 18 months and was leaning more and more towards a modern 2t trials bike for riding hard enduro terrain. slowly. I'm quite ripe and don't have the testicular fortitude to punt a 300cc enduro bike. The E-motion looks perfect for how and what I ride.

Yes the E motions are great on the fact that you can ride it in your back yard in a suburb or something. Just so quiet

Good stuff! I love all bikes but my mind is shifting. I wouldn't be able to ride the Sherco anymore if i were you. At first i was shocked how quiet it was then i realize it wasn't running..;) I followed my ktm300 buddies much of the day at Croom, Florida. One buddy had an older one and I sucked up two stroke all day. I literally had a sore throat and felt a bit nauseous. I told them I have to lead from now on. And the noise gets tiring. PLUS, the Escape will eat it alive in the toughest stuff, what's the point any more. Wheel spin on the 300s also kicked up tons of dust as Croom was dry. 2 Strokes SUCK! I know im hurting feeling.. just kidding. I have 5, 2 strokes in the garage.. but there collectable street bikes, i love them. I rode a ton of awesome trails this summer, no way could i have on an ICE.

There’s still a place for the 2 stroke for now! A lot of the long hard enduro races a electric bike could maybe go 1/4 of the distance. Also the gnarliest races over in erzberg and Romaniacs would have to totally downsize for electrics. Until range or fast hot swap batteries then we are in this position

@@Idabro Yes, if your racing for sure. I'm like dad, just having fun and staying in shape without the hazards of MX. I need to avoid the yz450f and the jumps and this gives me as much fun and more. The only problem is traveling to the good trails. Florida, not much of interest...i need to move... What trails were you riding? I'm planning another road trip, need to find the spots. Thx

@@wetlifesports its good if you got some trails close to residential forsure. But if you dont need the quiteness of an electric, i would recommend trying a gas trials with longrange tank. I got a st 250 long ride tank seat combo with aux tank at the forks it can get approximately 30miles. I got some vids with it on my channel.

Excellent video. I have a 450 now, and most of my riding done around 10 - 25 mph in rocky, rooty, terrain with some elevation changes. My 450 weight 275lbs and my average ride is about 22mi. I think I want an EM. It would just suit me better.

Don't stop the comparison videos! Compare these to everything out there! :) I feel like the comparison videos are infinitely more entertaining than just ride videos (those are still fun too though). Another awesome video. Keep it up, guys! I ended up building my EM Escape R very similar to you guys but with a couple more mods (like a Fisher Fab House headlight [36v-96v] connected straight to the battery terminals). Thing lights up trails like no other headlight (especially in this size or power efficiency).

@@Idabro haha! Glad to hear it, man! I've been sharing you guy's videos with a lot of people. Definitely the beginnings of a great YT channel. You guys keep it entertaining the entire way through the video. Really great stuff! Next up: gotta compare it with a 72v Sur Ron! I'm sure there's someone in your area with one. I know the EM will still destroy on technical but it'll still be fun to see. I'm actually about to make a video comparing my 72v, 15kw @ 600 phase amp modded out Sur Ron to my Escape R as well. Is it cool if I reference you guys in my video? I was going to give you a shout out since you guys helped me out with finding EM part numbers and stuff.

@@TravisNobles the ron definitely looks better in the long faster speed hill climbs.
@TravisNobles2 жыл бұрын
@@fashionrider712istunthi9 had the same thought. 72v Sur Ron definitely wins in power and top-end speed but EM Escape R wins (by a LOT) in suspension and traction. Basically Sur Ron wins street and very light offroad, EM wins anything remotely technical.

@@TravisNobles seen 72v rons carry way more speed on my hill climbs. Kinda jealous, but our trails isnt all hill climbs so i remember why the escape is better. Lol
