Not a big fan of this modification. If you change the aesthetics of the car, what matters at that point that it was once a GT. I'd keep it as close as possible to the original shape, and, if the battery is too big... unfortunately redo the battery box and fit less batteries inside.

Great work on the battery box! Glad to see that the new job is still allowing you time to do your project. You are definitely getting better at welding, but with the difference in weight of steel vs. aluminum, converting your designs to aluminum might save a lot of weight for not much of a hit to strength. You may have to verify some of your measurements in CAD in comparison to the scanned files and other files you are using in the project to expedite the design of the parts, but it seems like SendCutSend can do it all for you. My one concern is the steel contacting the aluminum. I am not sure if it is an effect of salt up here or something else, but when these 2 metals are put together up here, they begin a very energetic reaction which causes both materials to "rust" rapidly. There is some sort of electrolysis between them, and they lose material quickly. I will look into it a bit more, but is the coating you are putting on an insulating coat, as that may make this a moot point. Keep up the awesome work, and I look forward to your next release.

I'm worried that bleeding the coolant system might be a big problem depending on how you run your lines. Try to avoid any high spots that would trap air. A little air can dramatically affect the flow and cooling properties of the whole system. That being said, I think things are coming along great on this project. You do an outstanding job of breaking down each step into manageable pieces, and you end up making impressive amounts of progress each episode considering you're just one guy who is also handling filming and editing. As you get into customer cars, the filming & editing is probably a good thing to hand off to an employee so you can focus on the design and fabrication. Most DIY youtubers seem to estimate that filming the projects more than doubles the time it takes to complete.
