You've got the world's greatest ebike there. You should do a video showing off its speed and acceleration and range. If you ever run out of money, you can use it to work 8-10 hours day on delivery/apps. A great thing about your 3 wheel trailer with high tow hitch is how easy it is to move around by hand. Nice part of your video here. Whole setup is a snowbird dream. Congratulations.

Thanks! Yeah, I’ll try to post some more detailed performance specs soon.

Youre awesome man,,thats one of the coolest thing i ever saw,, you did great on your built.I got to give it a shot , its been years since i want to built a bike camper but i cant generate enought money to even think about making something like that,i will have to recycle everything and remain human powered but if i stay focus it can be done in a couples years.

You can do it! Yes, I did go the expensive route, but there are lots of people making great campers on the cheap.

Great to see you out there if you would give us some updates as to how the motors and battery's are doing with weight and charge
@Jerbrown Жыл бұрын
Lloyd, nice to hear from you. I’ll try to get some more details soon for you. In the meantime. Three hub motors is a great setup for something near 800 lbs gross weight - bike, rider, and trailer. Battery is functioning perfectly so far. Some issues with the Cyberdrop front fork headset, and possibly some damage to rear bullitt hub motor that I’m investigating.

hiya jeremiah just curious if youve done any traveling with the camper yet,im still trying to come up with a final design for my own project but im worried about stabilty as im going to require something bigger for extended tripsive looked at extending types and various others but ends up being to awkward to will be final size do you think you could up size the camper ,even add dual motors`
@Jerbrown Жыл бұрын
I would do the Center of gravity calculations and make sure it’s as low as possible. The challenge with going much bigger is that you become top heavy if you want to stay narrow enough for bike lanes, and the weight requires more motor power and battery that can support. IMO, you want a design that inspires confidence and let’s you ride moderately aggressively without worrying about it tipping over or losing control.
@Jerbrown Жыл бұрын
You can add dual motors and I would at a minimum. For my setup, three Grin Hub motors have been ideal although I’m not yet convinced about the strength of the Grin hubs as one has failed on me already. Could be an anomaly, but I’ll report back.
@katiekumcgil Жыл бұрын
hiya well the grin all axle motors are basically a 9 continent stator at its heart and has very close specs in the grin motor simulator ,ive decided on the crystalyte hs4065rd they do a solid 65kmph on 48volts and still in the lighter weight categories and cost 580 au opposed to 800au for the grin im going to use 20inch fat rims and tires 4 total about 3/4 of the length ,i wont be useing a tow arm though the tow point is just above the cetre of the rear wheel and bolted directly to the frame ,kind of like those camper that you tow with a truck they go up and over@@Jerbrown
@Jerbrown Жыл бұрын
good move going with the fat rims. Sounds like a good plan. Good also to have the hitch point lower. Cheers! @@katiekumcgil
