You should just listen to the WHOLE " Colors" Album and it's only 8 songs and yet its like an hour long.

Yeah the intro & outro of this song is part of a bigger picture & piece. It's quite important to it's conception. Honestly, watching this album live made me pick up the guitar for the first time right after and simultaneously want to put it back down. I can also say it's the hardest band I know to digest, but goodness it's worth the musical journey for me.

ELECTRIC REACTIONS nah I'm just trying to give you a shout out. From a fellow fan. Im glad you listened to some of their work. It seems chaotic at first listen but after hearing it a bit, you start recognizing the reoccurring themes & things of that nature. Very interesting stuff on a creative level

I definitely agree my brother. My last comment was meant to say ( phenomenal band ) not bad lol. These guys take me to a place musically that I have never been before. It tells an awesome story

Finally someone does BTBAM. Just got yourself a subscriber buddy. Try out "the faceless- digging the grave". Some very groovy tech death with a fucking jazz flute solo. Absolutely bonkers. One if my all time favorites... In your other btbam video, you mention death, so i assume you have given Cynic a listen. If not, you absolutely need to. Paul masvidal, who played with death, is the singer and lead guitarist and uses a very interesting vox effect on his vocals. Anyways, great taste in songs so far man, looking forward to watching more of these videos! Also, give "Backwards marathon" a chance by btbam. Tommy hits a high note in that song that would make Rob Halford blush.

I know the song like the back of my hand, as do a lot of these viewers, but I still pull the same face you do at 5:41 I'm a fanboy, but my favourite song of theirs is Specular Reflection.

Yes do an album review, all of Colors! The album as a whole will blow you away! Depending on who you ask there’s still 2-3 more songs that are even better. Every song flows into the next, the first song gives you direction of the album, the last ties it all together and everything in between connects to the next. It’s their first concept album, and every album since has been one as well. Maybe once a week pick a different album, you won’t be sorry lol ;)

So I believe since Between the Buried and Me is considered a progressive/death metal band, i feel you should play a song from their self-titled debut album. (aspirations.) Then continue for at least 2 or 3 albums and if you dig it keep heading down the rabbit hole with us BTBAM fans. Here's a list of recommendations for songs of each album. Aesthetic -- The Silent Circus (2003) Selkies: An Endless Obsession-- ALASKA (2005) Informal Gluttony -- Colors (2007) Disease, Injury, Madness -- The Great Misdirect (2009) Augment of Rebirth -- The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues (2011)) Extremophile Elite -- The PArallax II: Future Sequence (2012) Memory Palace -- Coma Ecliptic (2015) P.s.a sorry Between the Buried and Me and other fans, i've been on hiatus this year about BTBAM and there newer albums. I missed both tours that came to my city too. Not sure what songs are on their newer albums.
