Quick question. Is it the only to glue the parts into the enclosure? I noticed that you glued in the ESC with a hot glue gun. Is there another way to do it? I have a stormcore 60D that has bolt holes, but I am not sure of the best way to secure it to the enclosure without damaging it.

Hi Wayne. You can use the screws if there are mounting holes on stormcore. If Stormcore has a heat sink, its good to allow the heat sink to vent. Just make sure that you seal the rest of vesc from dust and water via hot glue, silicone, etc. Let me see if I have an example. Check out this video. Segments are labeled so that you can go direct to enclosure part. Here I did one enclosure for battery, and one for focbox unity. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4HTmqN7ebiBrdk

What deck is that?

I bought this longboard (deck+trucks+wheels combo) on either amazone or ebay. I took a look there just now, but did not see the exact same deck.

What is the motor specs ? Are you happy with them ?
@artsiomnaidzich95155 жыл бұрын
Sup Best Turk. Here are some specs: Motor: 6354 KV180 (check the link below). ESC: 30A single engine ebay Batt: 42v 6ah Wheels: 90mm Gear Ration: 14:27 Max speed: 28 MPH Range: 8 to 10 miles This little motor is awesome. It has good torque and efficiency. I weigh 180. With this set up I had no issues going over a 1 mile long bridge. This motor runs relatively cool as well. I've used the same set up for this ESK8 build: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYK6dpd8jplmrdE Hope it helped. Please become a subscriber to my DIY channel. Thanks sir , you did really great explain for me since i am very beginner to the e-skateboard. I was thinking about to buy flipsky 6374 but some peoples mention about loosen magnets so i can think on 6354. I am subscribing your channel is awesome !

@@acd4807 Here is a budget option for 6374 that worked great for me. Its a generic brand. Check the link below. Often companies like flipsky and others take generic motors, change their appearance (logo on the motor for example), and sell it for double or triple price. You can use this motor with or without sensor. Ebay ESC is compatible with this motor and sensor wire. www.ebay.com/itm/SALE-2900W-Electric-Skateboard-Longboard-C6374-170KV-Efficience-Brushless-Motor/153333589898?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dd53cf638b3d54c4687488376ff7fabe6%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D302546263597%26itm%3D153333589898&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A4f9d67c4-3ed6-11e9-ac78-74dbd1801642%7Cparentrq%3A4b10b17c1690aa12430bcf8cffef358a%7Ciid%3A1
