Areyy the best plus point for electric scooter is when we are waiting at the signal to turn green then you're vehicle wont run out of battery and also you can throttle in seconds, but for petrol heads they dont kill engine and waste petrol and keeps on waiting

All electric scooter manufacturers should meet and decide on the design of their batteries and come with a common model. This will help keeping alive the idea of battery swapping stations in petrol stations. Also, any development in the battery technology like lithium/ carbon or double carbon battery / aluminium -air battery, the manufacturers will not have to worry about the new clientele. Their battery can be used in all the existing electric scooters. Experts, please comment.

The disadvantages of electric scooters pointed out in this video are so true. However, these can be eliminated soon with better battery packs and motor. I guess if they do away with portable battery, they can have higher capacity battery by using the floor like upto 5-6 kWh. And that will kill any ICE in acceleration and top speed.

Only problem in electric is battery. You have to change your battery within a year if you are rough rider. For those reasons i never considered buying an E-vehicle, not even Tesla car. Tesla sucks after few months.

petrol scooter - maintenance cost Rs. 6000 per year after 3 years rs. 18000 in maintenance.... electric scooter maintenance cost rs. 3000 after 3 years approx and battery change rs.30000 . which equals rs.33000 after 3 years of ownership... Rs.15000 more than petrol scooter plus upfront cost of rs 20000 more than petrol scooter... Friends you'll be paying rs. 35000 more for electric scooter if you own it for 3 years.. Fuel cost for petrol scooter is about rs 1 per km more than electric scooter according to these guys. So one needs to ride electric scooter at least 35000 km in 3 years to even up the initial and maintenance cost and more than 35000 km to offset the gains of buying a petrol scooter .. And even in the long run one can't profit from electric scooter as one will have to change the battery again in 6th year. And all these used batteries are e - waste, just as hazardous to environment as air pollution caused by petrol. For those who think they are saving nature by using electric scooters better alternative will be a bicycle for commuting short distances.

If you look into it properly with a cradle to grave approach that's not true, (Electricity production in India is majorly from coal which is not as efficient as petrol so its not like using electricity doesn't produce CO2. Also the used battery is also an issue to the environment. So if you do a proper life cycle assessment of things both are equally environmentally degrading probably petrol scooter is a bit less.) saying electric scooter is environment friendly is wrong it might be city friendly as the carbon production is far from the city.

Using small wheels scooter for long ride is not a good idea. Because small wheels cannot give you a good ride quality, so scooters are only for city purpose, so in cities like Bangalore its better to use electric insted of dying in hospital after becoming bankrupt.

Not really. These days an average electric scooter/bike runs around 80kms on full charge. Do you travel that far regularly? Think again Usual commute distances daily won't cross that limit. I know many who own electric bikes for travel. At home they put the bike on charge just like a mobile. And if they are planning some detour on the way back from work, they just bring the battery to office and set it to charge.

Bhai scooty mein 100kms kaun chalene jata hai? Mostly logo ko meine scooty ko city ke andar chalaate dekha hai wo bhi max 25kms one way.

@@sumandhabolkar2819 a professional rider using a petrol scooter for covering distance around 300-400 kms one way which is impossible for electric, and also they're way less powerful. Not saying e scooters are bad they're really great but they're useless for riders.

The only and most important USP of EV is No Emission. Pollution is the main factor. No other point can go above it.
