All the work is in the video. How can you get a different value? Also, I took my last EE class 15 years ago. This is still review for me and watching the video 2x w/o any note so far.

Same here. He did it by superposition but messed up the second part. The voltage at Vo that's contributed by the current source would be 2 * 1.875 which would yield 3.75. Add that to the 3.75 from the first part and you get 7.5. I did it by nodal analysis and got 7.5 which is correct.

@@rafaelr5243 Req is actually 5.875 ohms. 5//3 = 1.875 ohms, then you add 4 ohms(series) wich is 5.875 ohms. After that just multiply that by 2 and that equals 11.75V. Add that to the 3.75 fro part 1 and you get 15.15V.

@@johanmanuelrosariogarcia2033 exactly I used nodal analysis as well and found v out is 7.5. 2A x 4omhs is 8volts plus 7.5 yields 15.5 as you said. Super position is just a technique you don't have to use it.
