Thanks for the video, very helpful! I studied many of your videos to pass the FE exam. At the 2:35 mark you mention Z equivalent is the resistive portion plus the capacitive reactance - I think you meant the inductive reactance. Furthermore, since you're now referencing Z equivalent, you are no longer in the time domain, since Z (impedance) is a frequency-domain (or Laplace domain) attribute but inductive reactance (wL) is a time-domain attribute. It is nonsensical to reference time-domain values (inductive or capacitive reactance) when you're talking about impedance Z which automatically puts you in the frequency or Laplace domain. It would be more accurate to say Z equivalent is the resistive portion plus the impedance of the inductor (jwL) so now both the resistor and inductor are in the frequency domain, which is where they belong when discussing Z.

Yes! If you multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 respectively (which doesn't change the value of the answer) you would get the correct answer in the same form as the video.

This answer is wrong I1 = .6 , i2=1.1 , i3 = .5 , power 1.1^2 = 1.21 watt

You need to point each equation in the handbook first before solving it otherwise is not really helpful
