Since SR1000 support Ethernet/IP and Profinet, considering the price, I would recommend you use a Ethernet/IP master (scanner) in Beckhoff controller side.

@@yulienalvarado5743 Thanks for your feedback. The Beckhoff does very good job on the calculation performance especially on the complex algorithms, as well as the EtherCAT. However, the Vision, Barcode scanner, valve banks and so on those smart devices vendors most of them only support Ethernet/IP and Profinet. For Beckhoff system, to implement EIP and PN, you have to purchase communication modules, rather than AllenBradley and Siemens, their controllers build-in the protocol. This might be the reason Beckhoff is very strong in the Extrusion Industry rather than Robot and Inspection cells.
