First of all I really appreciate your hard work and efforts you are doing in making so reliable videos. Just a little piece of correction I would like to add, panels angel should always be equal to your latitude not as you mentioned. Now why is that so its a little technical description. Our Sun is not always on equator, and have a declination of 23.5 degrees, means it deviates from equator to such angle, so as a rule of thumb lets just say you noted the ampere readings in April, then it is perfect for that month only, but for whole year it wont be beneficial, and changing the angels after few months is very hectic so keeping all this in mind we should always take latitude only. Hope this info will suffice.

Agree with you, because you have mentioned it in theoretical way. Or there ks one more method which could be used but it's way more costly and impractical: i have used solar tracker in solar concentrator setup, it follows the direction of sun and changed accordingly.

Very nice ,also keep in mind the difference of angle for winters and summers, on 22 June your best angle is supposed to be your latitude minus 12 degrees and on 21 December it is increased by Latitude plus 12 degrees ,so there is a total 24 degrees of tilt of earth is also cattered for : )

you are 90% wrong its not so simple,you get max A@45 degree at the time you are on roof but its not optimum angle for whole day plus summer and winter latitude angle correction is different??also consider this factor for max yield

Very informative video. Thank you for your efforts. I live in Karachi and I would like to setup a solar system for my home where 3 fans (DC 12 V), 5 led lights (DC 12 V) will be used. I have visited market and found a good setup which includes 2 plates (mono) of 165 Watts (BritishSun), 30 Amps Charge Controller, initially 1 battery of 125 AHRs (AGS Battery) will be installed later on, I will purchase 1 more same capacity battery. Please advise.

I think u need to study more, ur effort is good, but either u dont know to express ur. Knowledge or to make an informative video.. Sun keeps on changing its position relative to the movement of Earth, its directly related to summer n winter, where as solar plates are required to set on fix angle with sun for max generation.so angle of plates are changed according to movement of earth to keep them on a fixed angle with sun ⛅

Well hopefully local installers will see this and understand that the tilt angle does make distance, instead of saying "sab theek hay", "aisay hi theek hai" "koi khaas farq nahi parta" bhai farq parta hai. If a customer invests in solar, it should give maximum roi. It can make the whole experience from very good to meh to utter no change in electricity bill, like happened to a relative. Specially for areas hit by load shedding, it would ensure batteries are charged or as much as possible.

Dear I have 3 solar plates of 150watts, 18volt, 8amp. But in my controller battery just take 5.5amp for charging and load only take 3.5amp/4max. So ewall does it means that only one plate is functioning. The total amp should be 24amp isn't so? Please help n guide where lies the problem ewall

Pls reply my question. As per another youtber Best Angle=Latitude of your area- 15e.g in your case of attock best angel =33-15=18 but in reality it is giving best efficinency at 33 and above which 42 angel. So should we base only the latitude .

Bro it varies acc to season . In summer at lower angle panels perform well and in winter season higer angles are more appropriate. So in case of fixed structure latitude angle is optmal

This is only possible at your desire time. Let Suppose you did this task at 12 pm. When time goes to 2pm then the angle will be different and efficiency will be low as compare to 12pm time. So what should we do and at which angle we put our solar plates so that all the day it get full efficiency???

Par iss video me mere kuch doubts ha, jaise ki aapne jis waqt ye angle ka calculation kiya wo angle uss waqt ke liye to thik hai sayad par kya ye hamesa uss angle pe max. output current dega to recharge the battery of an OFF-GRID system. Hi, very nice video. I have just installed 1.5kVa luminous nxg1800 solar inverter and 150AH to batteird and 335 W/24v mono 2 panels. My panels are fixed at 18 deg angel. Panels are not connected to inverter yet. Should panels be connected in series or parallel please ? In inverter manual it's written panel input 24v/ 1000w with OCV 36 to 45v

Configuration must be as per your Inverter Requirements... Inverter input range will define how to connect panels either in series or in parallel... And Inverter Output will define how to connect Batteries .

@Yawar Saeed; yes technically you are right. The most beneficial set up would be an automatic tracking mount that will change its tilt angle and direction as per position of the sun in various parts the year and at various hours of the day. But you can well imagine what cost would be involved in making these mounts and setting up automated movement system. Hence it will practically become infeasible, rather impossible. Therefore, it is a practical approach to place the PV panels truly south and at a tilt angle between 35 and 40 degrees for best and optimal results (That is for Lahore, Pakistan. May be a little different for other latitudes)
