Are there any differences in stability between the step over and the step thru models due to a lack of a top tube?

Hi George, there is a little bit more frame 'flex' on most step-through bikes for that very reason (no cross/top tube support) but its fairly mild on the Pace 500 and never felt 'wobbly' like some can, which is always nice to see. - Mike

I own this bike, but I would have to consider the Lectric Xpress which is cheaper and more powerful. Although it has been plenty powerful for all of my needs.

Hi there, according to the Aventon website, it says: "Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX4 water-resistant standard. IPX4 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike."

Aventon makes incredible bikes. Nothing like a Turbo Vado, but good nonetheless. Ran a stop 🛑 sign. Not a good look. 😣 👮🏿

@@ElectricBikeReview It just kids watch these videos and think running a stop sign is normal cycling behaviour watching adults do it. I’ve seen far too many bike vs car accidents result in serious injuries or a tragedy. 👮🏿
