Demonstration of two copper discs placed in an electric motor spinning another motor/dynamo without mechanical transmission. Two copper discs are inserted into the main motor. In the other secondary motor, two neodymium magnets are inserted in its axis. When the main motor reaches a certain speed, it transmits its magnetic force to the two magnets of the secondary motor, which in turn produces electricity to ignite light bulbs connected in parallel. This transmission system avoids mechanical movement and friction between the motor axes, reducing less current absorption.
Needed to replicate:
1 small 12 volt battery
2 electric motors, approximately 6-24 volts.
2 copper discs diameter, 75mm. thickness 0.8-1mm.
2 neodymium magnets, diameter 25mm. thickness 5mm.
4 LED bulbs E27 24 volts, 5 watts.
4 E27 lamp holders.
A wooden base for the engines.
A wooden base for the lamp holders.
The speed of rotation of the system is subject to the voltage that the 12 volt battery supplies to the dynamo to produce 27 volts to the bulbs, increasing the primary voltage also increases more voltage to the secondary motor and which in turn will produce more current to ignite other bulbs.
This transmission movement is not to be considered as a free energy system, but only to highlight a movement free from mechanical contact.

That is a good alternative demonstration of the "magnet dropping through a copper tube" eddy current effect. Looking at the comments, I think some people are confusing the use of copper and magnets in the link between the motor and generator, with the generation of the electricity. The electricity is being generated by the generator spinning, not by the copper and magnets.

For those who ask about the heat from the copper plate... if it's enough, could be captured using some peltiers and increase the efficiency even more. I'm surprised by how efficient this is instead of mechanical coupling of the motors, as seen in another video

Very interesting I have a question does the copper disk make the magnet rotor spin in the opposite direction? Or do they both spin in the same direction?

You might as well just connect the motor to the dynamo. The losses due to friction would be the same (or better?) and energy losses would be smaller.

@@ElectricExperimentsRobert33 If you connected the output shaft of the motor to the input shaft of the dynamo then there would be less friction, not more. The air passing over the disc causes more friction. You also need to overcome extra inertia from the weight of the disc and the magnet. I could go on but what you should do is show the current and voltage on both sides of your experiment and you will be able to quantify it easily. Just add two more multimeters.

@@ElectricExperimentsRobert33 Agreed, but i'd bet the losses are higher with this setup since the dynamo shaft is guaranteed to run slower than the motor shaft, yet the torque is the same on both shafts. A well set-up mechanical coupling would have very low losses. Measuring the efficiency of both would make an interesting video.

I didn't know that 2,000wh would only run one major appliance for like 5 hours. I payed about $2,000. with taxes for 5 hours of heat. 2,000wh seems misleading. @@rickcarp5453 Do you know why; my oil filled, supposed to be energy efficient space heater drained my ac200 in a little over 4 hours? I worked as a carpenter most of my life, and did some basic residential wiring, but that is about all I know about electronics. That; and selling on an eBay app. I was born in 1960. This is a coupling, it doesn't "generate power". It's also a coupling which relies on eddy current, meaning it's by desing parasitic & at any RPM it will still use some power. Layman's terms: it transfers mechanical power & poorly at that. It has some uses but very niche & certainly not for good efficiency power generators.. It has the same function as a shaft connecting two rotating things together, except it uses electromagnetism. The most important law of all science is that there is no such thing as free energy, can't cheat the very basic principle of the unvierse (sadly lol). So basically if you're powering something with electricity you will never get more in return, in real world it will actually be always less. There are some odd stuff here & there liek Stirlign engines where you can supply some current to transfer heat etc. & the thing generates electricity but it's using another source to generate that electricity coming out.

You could mount this in the hull of a small rowing boat and drive a propeller without a need for a direct driveshaft. I was floating out on the ocean waves on my old row boat one fine morning, I acidentally stumbled across an oil rig, there were men with oxy acetylene torches doing repair work on the structure, I got talking to them, Kev, Mike, Gaz, Puffer and a few other hiviz stool pigeons, suddenly I chucked a few cups of calcium carbide into the ocean next to them, bubbles formed and the gas alarms started wailing. "fuck sake, what the hell was that?" one of the hiviz standabouts blurted. I explained that it was magic "dust" that made acetylene gas, they could not believe it, Scumson rigged a water bottle to the gas line and he took some "dust" and dropped it in the bottle, sure enough, the welders confirmed it was acetylene gas, they got the work done in jig time. Now I go out there every week to sell a few bags to Scumson the security grunt, the guys are happy, the bosses too, it means Scumson is left with cubic metres of gas to take off the rig to sell on the mainland, he stores it in coke bottles and baloons, man I see them guys flying over in the helicopter on a Friday night, they must be really over the moon, I can just picture Puffer lighting his cigarette and laughing with Scumson. Yep, over the fukin Moon those cupcakes.
