I have a question the ECT can be used for OCD?

We prefer ECT for the psychotic patients but OCD is a neurotic disorder so, in OCD we should prefer cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

In my personal case I have OCD and I take 200 milligrams of sertraline in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy and it has not worked for me. I wanted to know if you do electroconvulsive therapy in patients who do not respond to cognitive-behavioral therapy
