Electro Deli: The LEMO Connector

The LEMO connector is a fine multipole latching connector made in Switzerland. This example is a 5-pin type, and the pins are gold-plated. The connector is latching and has O-rings to seal it when mated. It's a much nicer type of connector than the very common DIN connector, but of course it's also much more expensive.

They are super expensive, most the time you see them onto medical equipment. You should also make a series about crappy componants, some coutry-specific telephone plugs compete very well as crappy stuff, and also the now defunct european SCART audio/video plugs. Contacts large enough to feed a washing machine, but made of the cheapest possbile tin metal sheet :-D
