Hey! Thank you so much for making this review video. The bike featured in the video was one of the earliest prototypes we built last year. It features a hidden mid-drive motor seamlessly integrated near the crank within the frame. Additionally, the rear wheel is equiped with the internal three-speed gear hub, which can shift automatically depending on your speed. Our current iteration of bikes has optimized automatic sensing lights and active safety alarms. The photosensitive component will continuously detect the ambient light within 10 seconds and only turn on/off the light when necessary. Additionally, both features can be turned off via the touch screen. For the problem that the horn is not loud enough, we will increase the volume and consider adding customized functions. Of course, we noticed that what everyone is most worried about may be the riding range. The latest version uses LG's 21700 lithium battery, which has a higher energy density. It can maintain a driving range of more than 50 kilometers even on complex road conditions that alternate between flat roads and uphill slopes. Anyways, we'll carefully consider the criticisms and suggestions to enhance the performance of the C8 and ensure the quality of our products during mass production. 😄

I really like the look of this bike no wires and nice colour . The google maps built in I’ve been looking for a screen with that 😍. But the range has put me off massively as I want a bike I can do 40-50 mile rides . I already have a 20 mile one on fastest speed . Also I don’t get the automatic lights , it’s not hard to turn lights on so why make them smart which won’t work half the time ?. If you send me this bike with higher battery range I’d love to try it out ;)

@badabing8884 Yeah . . . at 03:48 she talks about the motor developed in-house, and the camera gives a closeup of the rear hub. Then there's "2.68 kg" and an arrow pointing right at the rear hub. Again, at 12:26, there's another closeup of the rear hub just when she says "... created their own mid-drive motor ...". On the Tezeus site, they show the location of the motor before the pedal crank arms are installed. I'm thinking now that @Electroheads made mistakes in post-production video editing.

I like the look but how is that touchscreen gonna handle the rain and cold? Maybe ok but i suspect it will cause problems. The tailight radar is a bit pointless. What are you supposed to do when you see a car approaching from behind? Jump out the way? You should be riding as safely as you can and someone rear ending you is one thing that is out of your control really. It maybe useful if your turning and didnt notice something i suppose 🤷 id have to ride it i guess. Not a great range really either, my single speed heavy fat bike gets more than this (it also has a bigger battery but i would have expected slightly better given the 3 speed and more efficient tires) that price seems steep too. Not one bfor me.

From a new start up that may not be around in a year or five years, there's way too much unique proprietary parts involved in this bike. Saying that, I wish them great success for the future. Anything goes wrong, your fecked. You're left with posh recycling. I'm currently seriously looking to buy my first workhorse e-bike and I'm going for a Bosch system regardless of brand. Although I have a top of my list I'm currently waiting to see if it's available in a 62cm frame. In ten years time, if a motor, sensor, battery or screen needs to be replaced then the parts should almost certainly still be available. There are hundreds of manufacturers building their bikes around the Bosch system. Essentially they are Bosch bikes regardless of the brand. Everything is standard and replaceable. As far as I can tell right now, it's the nearest you can get to Triggers broom for an e-bike. That was also the beauty of a good old manual push bike. In twenty years you could have replaced every single part and technically it's still the same bike. That ridiculous radar system fitted where it is means I couldn't put anything on a rear rack without blocking it. Too gimmicky anyway. I'd prefer two good quality motorcycle mirrors on the handlebars as I have on my current manual bicycle. I'm 2 metres tall and over 120kg before locks and luggage, another 20-30kg every ride. If Eilish is only getting 20 miles per charge, I'd be lucky to get 12. Not counting some steep hills. She'd be lucky to get 30 in summer. And for more than a Cube Kathmandu? Bigger battery, 85nm!

Interesting cycle to enter the ebike race, carbon fibre frame for weight reduction, not to sure about hidden cables other than looks as regards sevicing/repair would be a major pain, lack of suspension on UK roads mmmmm, battery range seems poor as the UK only gets a short few months of 20 degrees +, yes it's a prototype and rather expensive for a hub powered cycle, it requires a real life test in this country for 12 mths to see the perks of ownership over price also a build shakedown or reliability test... Is it a British designed machine or American? Where is it going to be manufactured? Do like this rear radar but the astute rider should always keep their witts about themselves and use your eyes n ears whilst cycling to prevent harm to yourself as yes as a simple commute is where your vulnerable mixed with other modes of transport. Will this make cyclists lazy in the long term? Like all the electronics fitted to cars these days, had the pleasure of a drive in a Q7 Audi quattro no pleasure in driving it as with all the sensors attached it drove itself with little input from the driver other than pushing a few controls sucking the life out of driving.... Keep up the great content as it provides a great insight to cycle design, manufacturing, technical development and the future of pedaling!!

City and road bikes really need a rear view mirror. The screen and back camera should be the rear view mirror. and the lights and controls? I'm not a fan of "smart" technology. got to have a manual overide. And only 20 mile range? Nah. Need at least 50mile range. I would have a loud horn. And for the price of the bike, they should have puncture proof tires. Finally, too expensive for what it is currently. Don't these designers get out and ride in traffic?

I don’t get why lights etc are automatic. There is no need . It’s not hard to press a button to turn them on . They’re just trying to be over smart but when they do that things don’t work right . Also the mileage is always fake news it’s annoying they give you milage if you was on the lowest speed on flat service which is just unrealistic no one riding on slow and flat service in perfect weather conditions all time . How can it claim to do 63 miles and you’re saying it went to low after 15 miles ? That’s a massive difference to only get about 20 miles out of a claimed 63 miles bike But I do like how the google maps is built in and the weight and look is lovely . I’d buy this if the range was better . If they send me a freebie I’ll try it out ;)
