Electrolux 305 - Upstairs clean

Love using this one 😍 The suction is so powerful that it makes the "Deluxe" Flip-Over Floor Tool look good, but even with the suction control fully open on the hose handle, it didn't like the bath mat! 😄

Hard to believe this lovely looking machine is 50 years old now. can’t beat Electrolux for style

It is frightening to think where those years have gone! This one dates from Jan 77, so I guess is just over half way through the run. Would love some instructions for it to turn up one day, as its definitely my favourite Electrolux cylinder 😍

@@andyElec AFAIK, this ran from 1973 to 1979, so probably a little later in the run than halfway, but given the fact it ran for as many years as it did, this is one cleaner that never seemed to show up much, even back in the day...my money's on it being overshadowed by the 330 and 345, in as much as this was 2nd from the top-of-the-range, so if you were going to go to the expense of this then you may as well go the whole-hog and have the top-of-the-range...never more so if purchased on finance terms.

@@sdm3447 totally makes sense to go for the better model with more bells and whistles (though I'd have been happy with one of these had I been old enough to buy one at the time 😀) I've since seen old catalogue pics of this being sold alongside the 330 and 500 so you must be right on the dates 👍 And I've those early ones had the braided hose too 😊
