Rohit pls don't watch any educational video in x1.5 or x2 because the faster you listen/observe a concept the faster you will forget it... Try to watch the video in normal speed in order to retain the conecpts for a longer period of time... The new trend of watching lectures in faster playback speed is complete negligence done by us.... Also some people will point out that 'they save a wholesome amt. of time beacuse of this"..I do agree it saves time, but your concept retainability becomes 0..so this sums up to nothing.... Please do give a thought on my long boring comment it will be worth it.. Cheers

In electricity generation, a generator[1] is a device that converts motive power (mechanical energy) into electrical power for use in an external circuit. Sources of mechanical energy include steam turbines, gas turbines, water turbines, internal combustion engines, wind turbines and even hand cranks. The first electromagnetic generator, the Faraday disk, was invented in 1831 by British scientist Michael Faraday. Generators provide nearly all of the power for electric power grids. The reverse conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy is done by an electric motor, and motors and generators have many similarities. Many motors can be mechanically driven to generate electricity and frequently make acceptable manual generators.

Sorry you are wrongIn electricity generation, a generator[1] is a device that converts motive power (mechanical energy) into electrical power for use in an external circuit.
