Light speed is different depending on the medium it travels through. The denser the medium the slower the speed. It's fastest in vacuum thus when someone says speed of light is usually associated with speed of light through vacuum, its close to 300'000km/s
@Scienceabc
@Scienceabc 4 ай бұрын
You are right, but you were supposed to provide the exact value of speed of light, or atleast more specific than 3000000 km/s :)

Though i know this, watching a fundamental explanation like this video is so satisfying to me. I'm in awe, amazed, marveled, humbled and educated like i just heard it for the first time.

From 0:54 u said that we can transfer electrons are those free electons ? If so then in case of any anion to achieve the stable state why do they not bond with free electons?
@KingParth90210
@KingParth90210 26 күн бұрын
Anion is negative charge, free electrons are negative charge, same charges repel so they can't bond.

Nobel prize in physics if you can explain electron "flow" through copper wires. Hint : it doesn't "flow" like marbles through a hose.

Even though we’ve become experts at using electricity, we still really don’t know how the magic works. This electron model provides a convenient but oversimplified and probably incorrect model.
