It is VERY easy to tell when the is something wrong with allmost anything> All you have to do is count how many TLA's there are when they are being explained! A TLA is a Three Letter Acronym. It is a symbol of ANY over engineered system! Back in the good old days when we had hydraulic powered brakes, hydraulic power steering, a belt driven generator(alternator) and a good AM/FM radio and NO electronic problems!

Never had an EBS on our 1983 Toyota Corolla and the original "conventional" battery lasted 16 years.

This is likely the issue with my truck. Auto start/stop doesn't work and at low speeds I've noticed the radio crackles like it's not getting enough power. I got the battery tested and they said "It's got a low charge but a good 30 minute drive should bring it back up". This was literally after my 30 minute highway commute lol. That was also 8 months ago so I know the battery isn't the problem here.

How does one test what ohms these produce? Can a resistor bypass be used?

This component is irrelevant the car won’t start without it and the main dealers charge an arm and a leg for this tiny component made in Hungary..

So true if you are having problems starting or battery 🔋 warning lights or ECM fuse blow or charging system codes or battery not holding charge or miss communicate with PCM or ECM display or alternator not recharging after replace or fuse blown these sensors go bad overtime

Hello im frm the Philippines. Ihave a ford ranger 2014. After i replaced a new battery, after a week my battery suddenly went flat. Replaced again with a new battery (warranty) and performed BMS and BCM reset manually and using scan tool, I observed the voltage fluctuates. Already swap alternator, still the same symptoms (engine start, 14.1v then after a minute drops to 12.2v). Checked terminals and connections all are good. No accessories connected also. I discovered that unplugging and reconnecting the Bms sensor for 10secs every after engine start the voltage stabilized between 14.0-14.6v with or without load. So this is my temporary remedy everytime i use my car, which is very inconvinient. Does this mean my sensor is broken or did i miss something? Hope you can give me some inputs. Thanks

My car wasn't staring but it turned on. tire pressure came on and it also said incorrect key but when I went to check my tire pressure the guy said there was nothing wrong with my tire but possibly something could be wrong with my senors

I don't know about yours, but the one on my RDX is self explanatory. One electrical connector, one ground post, and the battery connection. I wonder what Chevy did...

they screw up charging of a lifepo4 battery by telling the car the battery is full at 13v when it is nearly empty.

@@shaunjay6040 For a battery with its own BMS, you can disconnect (unplug) them and then the car should revert to 14+ v alternator always on, with the downside of a stop-start system error message on the dash and no stop/start.

@@nyc863 idk.. I disconnected mine on the dodge and it won’t read above 14v except on cold starts. Which is odd because at the PCM I’m reading under 14, but at the first battery I’m reading 14.3, and the second battery is reading what the pcm reads. I’m fine until I play full tilt. Then the cars volt meter drops to the high 11’s and the battery light comes on. The thing is, I’m not clipping, and I don’t have lights dimming. Idk wtf is going on.
