In 6: 33 if the electron is bonded how can it move into conduction band.. ?!!!

Sir I have a doubt that u said in last 10 sec of the video that energy band gap for metals is approx zero at 300k this means conductivity of metals increase on increasing temp but this is not true bcoz on increasing Temp resistance of metals increase correct me if I am wrong? Plz

sir, 1 -> "Conduction band has electrons and valence band has holes" ; 2 -> " Minimum energy (Energy gap, Eg) if we give to electron in the hole then electron will move to conduction band and will act as carrier for current" Till what extent i am correct in these 2 statements. Pls help me in correcting myself. Thank you sir!

Sujatha gangi condutction band will have free electrons , valence band will have bounded electrons..if we apply sufficient energy bounded electrons will move from valence band to conduction band and becomes free, and they will participate in the current conduction
