Thomas is a great guy and I was lucky enough to see him in his early days in London.

Windpower was my introduction to Thomas c. 1982 and it blew me away also (sorry about the unintentional pun)! I'm not surprised that Martyn likes it so much as it shares a futuristic kinship with the early Human League sound, when they were sonically at their most experimental and exciting for me.

Thomas Dolby was always a big inspiration and I was lucky to see him perform at the Tower Theater in Philly with Danielle Dax

Two of my childhood icons and a extraordinary interview :) what best? Martyn should have replace John Peel at BBC in my opinion, his experience, his history and passion..priceless, I will treasure a little chat had with him forever back in Italy just before Covid. I wouldn't be into electronic music if I hadn't heard gems like Being Boiled and Flying North on the radio.
