Hello sir, in your other video, u said the 5v and 3v inductors are always behind themselves. But this one is far away from each other.
@electronicsrepairbasics_erb3 күн бұрын
That's a great observation, the location of the inductors can vary between motherboard models.

Hello sir!My Dell laptop Motherboard all the circuits am just getting 19 volts why?What should I do to get different volts?
@electronicsrepairbasics_erb4 күн бұрын
Hello.Thank you for your question. If you're observing 19V across all the circuits, it typically means the voltage is not being stepped down by the power management ICs to generate the required lower voltages for other parts of the motherboard. Here's what you can do: Check the power rails on your motherboard. The 19V is usually the main input voltage from the adapter, which is stepped down to lower voltages (e.g., 5V, 3.3V, 1.8V) by buck converters or voltage regulators. Inspect the Power Management ICs: Look for the power management ICs and check if they are functioning correctly. A faulty IC might not step down the voltage properly. Check for any open or short circuits in components like MOSFETs, capacitors, and inductors associated with the power management circuits. Use a Multimeter: Measure the resistance and continuity on the relevant power lines to see if there's a short or disconnection. Refer to the Schematic Diagram: If available, use the motherboard’s schematic to trace the voltage paths and pinpoint where the voltage conversion is failing. You can find Dell schematics in my Patreon, all links in the description. Let me know if you need further assistance.
