52:05 Sorin this is usb C, so as you know the cable can be plug in normal position and upside down as well. SO when you replacing the port you should check if the charging is working on both positions, but you didn't do it. And aslo it could be nice, if you could add some alcohol to inside of the port after soldering to dissolve/remove flux from the pins inside socket/port (maybe this was the reason why the port on right didin't charge the laptop on the begining (after soldering)

Ok...I have ruined several USB ports in several tablets. I can repair them because of your videos...thank you!. I guess we all keep the charger in the port all the while we are on the internet. You are not suppose to do this. But we want the battery charged 100% all the time. You never know when you will not be able to charge your device on the run. Well, with the charger plugged in all the time we sometimes find the device we are using falling out of our hand and the USB gets screws up.. I have since found the magnetic connection for charging. It takes the stress off the cheap plastic crap the manufacturers give us when you move your device in the wrong way. I bought the cord and three different adapters for any tablet or phone I have. It works great! I bought all my family them for Christmas... My son the webmaster, loves it!! I'm very happy with them. I put a minute drop of hot glue on the adapter so it doesn't pull out. Sometimes you need to remove the adapter and use a regular connector to move files around. The magnet is for charging only. The tablet I'm using now has one installed and I am charging the battery. The usb-c is very delicate and not meant to be used roughly.

The one thing good about USB C ports over the old DJ jacks: they're standardized. I can use your USB C charger, no matter the brand of my laptop. They should've just standardized the DC jack. 5.5 x 2.5 would've work great for most laptops - up to 250W.

for the usb c ports i think that they are a huge step forward they can pass more voltage and amps so quick charge the can handle audio and video in and out data transfer in high speed and all that with only one connector... if all devices had usb c ports you would not need a dongle you could charge your phone and laptop and console with one charger connect one denice to another with the same cable that you charge them... that can be huge. though the exceccution coud be better and to be ecxact manufacturers could use more standard ports charging sircutes not married to the charger so we can not only to theory use one charger one cable for all

It's even worse if you plug in a USB c device (in my case a nvme/m.2 enclosure) and smoke starts coming out of the enclosure. most of the time the controller takes the hit and something shorts out inside. Fortunately, the m.2 nvme still worked when put into another enclosure. I am looking to get a Klein tools USB-c tester, just not sure if has protection from overvoltage/current when testing.

Gary, I do some board level and found that a Hot Air Workstation is the way to go. You do not need the best when your first starting out. Yeah it would power on, the blue light would come on, I could boot the PC, it would run maybe 30 seconds, and then go out. Once it ran maybe a few minutes but through several days of test and trial, it wouldn't stay on for more than 30 seconds. I didn't open the power supply yet, I don't know what's up with it, I'm going to scavenge it for parts, or keep it as a backup if i can fix it, but I think it's a thyristor... It's the only thing I know at this point that I know could be damaged by the breakers coming on and off, and something that would cause the thing to shut off after becoming warm...

My advice on trading: you should swing trade. You need to find stocks that are undervalued or have suffered a slump that will bounce back. Then you wait; maybe a couple of months. When the stock gets good news and the price shoots up you sell. Very simple. Sometimes the price shoots up because lots of people think a stock will get good news soon. I have done this many times. It takes patience. If the stock has a good upward trend no need to sell; keep long term. If a stock is on a downward trend you need to be patient to wait till it bottoms then you buy. I cannot emphasize more: patience.

Supposedly you are not to wet your USB-C port. Computer designers are not forced to build things for people that are not careful. You want to water near your laptop? Buy a Dell rugged edition. They have been designed to withstand harsh conditions. Printer manufacturers usually sell printers at a loss, in order to get the profit from cartridges. The same with coffee pod machines.

I used to like your videos but not any more. You talk a complete gibberish and your repairs are the same all the time very simple and not informative at all
