I would have expected you will use some dedicated tool to clean off the paint from the PCB, like a fiberglass brush, but you don't seem to need it. The job looks good :)

A solution would be instructing the customer to use Magnetic Con. for charging. I think generally , charging is the main use

You dont need to give a warranty trust me if you say please take care because theres no warranty, then they really take care. If you say theres a warranty then they will tie the cord to the dogs collar and allow the dog to take the laptop for a walk

to remove the soldermask i use a smal brass brush. works like a charme

Laptops with Type-C ports, in my experience, are very prone to damage to the charging port and the Type-C IC.

You could have done it like earthquake resistant buildings by welding long wires together leaving the middle of the wires bent without welding for flexibility and it would still work even if the plastic piece moved.

good solution for this after repair is sell the customer a usb C magnetic port adapter. so there is no more stress on it. it basically becomes like poor man magsafe

This USB port should be replaced because inner plastic part with pins should not move like shown in the video. All the stress will still be on the resoldered pins and they will crack again sooner or later.

That's more the internal plastic part not being fixed to the steel USB housing properly, or the housing being too soft and bending and letting the plastic part move.

Huawei is relatively cheap. To keep the price low, they have to make cheap motherboards with weak tracks and they have to use cheap sockets. The money has to match.

The only way this pos USB design would last is using "spider like" wires that would be immune to port movement. And this particular one (since you have access to all pins) is a good one comparing to others, could be easily done. Designs that pins are under the port are a nightmare and can't be fixed reliably. Will fail again eventually...
