Another great Video, nothing beats Sorin, do you have any plans Sorin for repairs on Desktop Computers?
@user.fedorman6 жыл бұрын
Sorin, you are a genius! :)
@ThomasOrdon6 жыл бұрын
So in fact what you're actually doing is resetting the battery protection control circuit on the board in the battery pack itself by giving it power either directly to the cells or through the connector as you did you raise the Purcell voltage above its minimum safety limit and US turned it back on allowing it to take a charge this is common in all lithium ion polymer iron phosphate battery packs with OEM components
@InobuZ Жыл бұрын
You have to be careful using the USB port on the keyboard. Leaving any device connected to it will drain the battery. It will then go into some kind of hyper sleep mode. The only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery as you see here.
@ThomasOrdon6 жыл бұрын
The reason why you have to power to the battery like in this video is the circuit board in the battery pack when it reaches below 2.7 volts per cell it shuts off the battery from being charged or drain this is to protect the battery from explosion fire because a lithium battery can catch fire if it's drained to zero that's the short version long version is very long

Hello I just found your channel and find it fascinating! It’s great to see a channel with no acting and things worth watching to actually learn how to do things. My question is can you talk about your equipment a-little bit? I know most of it is professional grade but I started to put together a workstation in my home just for my own learning and fixing things. What would you recommend for a novice? I say novice because I know how to solder and have done the easy repairs like you spoke about in one of your videos like cracked screen repairs on laptops, phones, tablets etc. I have also replaced power ports on laptops that become loose and need to be re-soldered or replaced. Your microscope is very interesting and I am sure it’s very expensive but what would you recommend? Thank You for doing these videos, I did myself watching them not for a specific fix but watching a bunch of videos just learning from you. For that I thank you. Please let me know your input on a workstation for my home. Thanks again.

you should charge it then unplug the charger for 2 day then you can be sure that the battery is not shorted.

*Olujobi David* He's not only your mentor buddy. I've been following Sorin ever since he started this channel early 2017 and so have many others. But even the master makes mistakes, there's no such thing as a perfect record in this line of work. Not even for an experienced yet slightly unorthodox Electronics Technician of his calibre.
