I'm not sure why this competition between Louis and Sorin started but it's going to end right here. Louis is a completely different tech than Sorin. Both are self-taught but Louis is more clinical where Sorin goes with the flow. It's important to note that Sorin is NOT the owner of his own shop. He gets paid to fix things correctly the first time without ordering tons of parts. He is smart enough to be able to improvise to get the job done when parts are not available. Sorin built his channel to help others and it shows in ever single video he produces. I've never been disappointed by his work nor would I complain about his procedures as to me he is a electronics genius. Louis has a great channel but he focuses mostly on Apple products and knows them exclusively. A true master of his craft is one who can fix ANYTHING that comes before him, not pick and chose. Sorin fixes things WITHOUT even consulting a schematic. To that point, I feel Sorin is the better teacher and better tech. I actually get excited when I see him put out new content. I've learned so much about electronics and LIFE from watching his videos. He is a true gentleman and scholar for which few men in this world can emulate. I'm proud to be a huge fan of this channel and give him my full support.

Kenneth Well said my friend. Sorin is so laid back with his demeanor it is relaxing to listen to him speak. Never gets upset when things don’t go well, just moves on and gets the job done. I liked watching Louis for a while but now he just seems pissed off at the world. He is even getting into it with his friend Jessa Jones from iPad rehab. She is laid back with her videos and does great work. Louis should have been a lawyer like Sorin eluded to. He talks so fast he drives me a bit crazy at times. Something has changed in Louis in the past year. Very jaded outlook towards everything anymore.

Hi guy´s, we must remember that in any case there are different types of tech´s, i can relate to both of them as i for many years have been in the repair business - i have more incommon with Sorin since i have repaired most thing that they have been throwing at me over the years starting with tube radios... Now soring is using his overall common knowledge to repair the things he do, but if one get a completely new task, ofcourse a schematic will help, but it is seldom awailable in todays market.... Luis on the other hand beeing a a non tech ( And basicly a nice guy) from the start have gained a tremendous experience doing only one thing.. and together with PD´s software he can hardly be beaten in repair time concering Apple... i think both guy´s are doing a great job and i agre with Sorin.... All you need i love... From the album :-) - have a nice week guy´s / A

I think i learn the most from your videos. Improvising is a good thing. Im in Railway signaling and im improvising a lot. What it is and what i should be is not always the same. Everything in between should be beter than what it is. To sheat you have to know what your doing.
@johnoddvar19674 жыл бұрын
What amazes me is that its not just electronics. It is exactly the same in big relay systems with railway signaling that i work on. We got the new electronic systems now, but it is the same that in a iphone or computer. Its powersuply. I start to look in electronics a few years ago to learn the switching powersuplies. But i came over you and find out that a computer is build up in the same way that any other electric system. It dosent mather if its from the fifties or from now. When al the trains ar standing and i am in a hurry i very often go direct on the mather without opening the books. I also look on Louis Chanel and some other. I think your chanel its what i like the most. If you chal repair a toaster it has to go quick if you chould earn money on the job, but you have to do it because the alternative is to piss the customer off. And that is bad for reputacion. :)

So informative, but a little mind clearing, with the introduction of inbuilt batteries, there came the need to avoid removing batteries b4 replacing screens, therefore the need for the 30 pins lcd screen , which is save to remove n fix screen whiles the battery is in the laptop. The 30 pins can be replaced or swapped even when the laptop is in sleep mode n will still work perfectly
